Character-Specific Flag Charms

I was wondering what everyone would think of charms that unlock for specific characters depending on the player logging in on certain days (ie. national holidays.)
Such as a little red maple leaf unlocking for Claudette, Jeff, and Legion for anyone who logs in on July 1st (Canada Day), or a Japanese charm that unlocks on Feb 11th (National Foundation Day) for Yui, Spirit, and Oni?
Granted, that would mean a myriad of American characters would get a charm unlocked on July 4th, so maybe they wouldn't need to be locked to certain characters, I'm just saying I'd love to rock a maple leaf on my belt is all.
