They need to add new mechanics to the game. Right now, gen repairs are the means to getting out. Simply increasing the amount of time because killers aren't able to achieve 4ks isn't the solution. I would personally enjoy new game modes. How about, instead of fixing gens, you solve clues and find the hatch, or something to that effect?

Gens definitley need to be slowed down somehow, but just raw increasing the time to repair is utterly boring and a bad idea.

No, for the love of god, no. I do NOT want to spend more time holding M1 on a gen.

Working on gens is boring. No survivor wants to sit and hold a button longer.

No way. Game is nicely balanced now. No need for longer gen times. Alternative objectives would be nice, but 120 seconds for gens would be crazy boring.

The issue with adding 40 seconds of repair time would make any Ruin/Thant/Dying Light game nearly impossible for the survivors. You have to remember that there are MANY other things that are to be considered when touching Gen Time. This will also cause a huge spike in ToolBox use which means other items will be used less and less.

The lowest a gen can be completed is 42 seconds (I believe) and requires the most efficient toolboxes (out of what, 6?) as well as the highest rarity add ons. If a survivor can get it down to less than 50 seconds repair time, then they've spent enough time and bloodpoints to earn that #########. Do not act like this is an EVERY game occurrence.

Not 120, it's very unbalanced. Maybe 95 will better.

I'd stop playing as would many others. If and it is a big if BHVR did this. You would need to gut almost all slowdown perks on the killer side and add more loops/pallets.

Honestly the gen speeds are not anywhere near bad enough that they need a 50% slowdown. You have to remember that the game is balanced so that there are about an equal number of killer “losses” at 0-1 kills as killer wins at 3-4 kills with a number of draws at 2 kills. That means about 60% of your games or so against equally good opponents will have 0-2 kills and therefore all the gens would be done. In other words all the gens being done is the normal outcome, the killer stopping all the gens is the minority outcome. So it shouldn’t be surprising that gens are done fairly quickly early in the match, take a little longer once the killer only has 3 or 4 to patrol, and then around the time you might have one or two kills they’re all done and people might escape.

Currently at 80 seconds that’s basically what usually happens, and killer kill rates hover around 2-2.5 kills per match from the game data they’ve posted last year. A huge 50% increase to gen time would just shift the averages way above 2 kills per match.
