Why did my teammates kill themselves
My teammates (both had very impressive time spend in game) literally killed themselves on they're first hook without even giving us a chance to rescue them.
They got downed, hooked, tried to get themselves off failed and instantly let the hook kill them.
They did not appear to be swf and we were facing a wraith.
Is there a new survivor trend I'm missing?

Could have multiple reasons. Second guy could have suicided because he does not want to play a 3v1. Or they suicided because nobody did anything while they got chased.
Or they were just salty (the first guy, at least).
Or the Wraith simply camped them and they did not want to hang around for 2 minutes.

Maybe because it was a wraith? Some experienced survivors seem to take being downed quickly by a low tier killer to be a personal insult.

DbD ranking and matchmaking is literally garbage, people who are terrible at survivor reach red rank and as a solo que survivor I kill myself on hook whenever I see that my teammates are useless and I realize I've been the victim of bad matchmaking.
An example of this would be running the killer for 80-90 seconds, expecting 3 gens to pop just to see that all 3 teammates are crouching around the map and 0 gens have been done. You better believe I'll kill myself and move onto the next game every time I see something like that.
