Devs we need to talk about dept killers.
Serously, with end game collapse. keys. Nothing to slow down gens, why cant we just make a 4k? Like seriously, i really want a devs insight here instead of silence like every time someone makes this thread. This is literally the most frustrating thing ever. With match making broken. Low tier killers. Bugs gallore. Like why does it have to be a merciless killer? Its redundant. Not to mention didnt you guys said you want more games to be like 2k 2 escape? Then why is the adept achivments just counter productive? Esp when the killers are released with bad perks.
And i know some smart ass is going to say "well i got it." or "You dont have to do it" Bruh...read the room. you arent clever. Now if someone wants to have a legit debate on weather or not devs should change adept killer requirements to make it a bit easier for the already super stressful role of killer, by all means. But dont be like the idiots who just says the same thing.

It really shouldn't stay as merciless requirement. It should be changed to just 4k.

Agreed it really needs to be changed. I tried to Adept Leatherface the other day, perfect 4k and nearly 32k points, but a few emblem points stopped me getting Adept. A few damn points. I get that it isn't supposed to be easy, but when you have a near perfect game and it still isn't enough, there's clearly a huge flaw in the system.

It was fine as it was. The devs seem to forget that being adept with a Killer never involves using their own perks. I can bet that every main out there uses at most only one of that Killer's personal perks.

Right? or when ######### die on their first hook or dc because you out played them. I literally just had a game as pig going for her adept... i killed all 4, but because they all suicide on their first hook. I didnt get adept.

As for the original point. I think it's fine to leave the requirement at Merciless. They just need to adjust the requirements for a Merciless game to be a bit more forgiving.

a lot more forgiving. there has been times i had a perfect game damn near.. but lost my adept because..idk they healed to many times? also..seriously..she needs a rework.

They need to change the requirements to just getting Merciless, regardless of perks used. You're not adept because of perks, you're adept because of your skill with the power of the Killer. You can get Merciless without perks or add-ons, but it would be really rough doing so. And you can be stomped while using the meta perks and pink add-ons. It's not about what you use, it's about how knowledgeable you are with the Killer.

No. If they make it alot more forgiving than it's not an achievement.
As for Piggy. She needs an addon pass. They're mostly garbage. Her powers are fine.
While I don't disagree that your knowledge of the killer is what will determine your abilityto get the achievement. I still feel you should still need to use their perks. Otherwise I'm just playing a normal game at that point.

It would be hard to do that and still have the perk be useful for other killers.
Her power is meant to slow down the game. That's all. Also her dash is in your control. This is why I also said she needs an addon rework. To give her traps better slow down and make her dash more viable.

her power does neither tbh... also come on a 2 and a half second crouch? youre telling me that doesnt need a rework? also her traps are literally rng based. Could slow down the game..or could be off in one second and zoom.

If they could I think they should change killer Adept to be 2k and gold emblem in each category. They should also change survivor to escape with gold emblem in each category. Make the Adept trophies for both equal. Right now killer has to basically have perfect game while survivor can just locker hop until the hatch is available.

The problem with adept is that we're in the gen rush meta. If your killer has no gen slowdown, you're getting silver lightbringer.

I would, but im green rank right now.. and i keep getting lobbies chalk full of red ranks... I mean out of the 40 games ive played today... only 2 didnt have red ranks. I did get adept pig today tho...

it is easier than ever to get 4k if you play with that objective, the achievement is fine as it is.

I agree it should be a 4k.
That said just depip on the 12th, reset will push you back further, get your adept in yellow then enjoy slaughtering your way back to red. Believe it or not youll appreciate the red ranks more as you realize easy 4ks every game is boring af

I absolutely agree it should be 4k.
There are some killers which have 3 perks that are rather difficult to work with (to be nice) and I would gladly try the killer ones if we only had to do a 4K.
Survivors (!)only(!) have to escape and don't need to obtain 4 red emblems so why isn't the killer adept just 4K.
I've done every survivor adept on the release date of the chapters (minus Zarina) since they're so easy to get (more so if you play with a competent team that can loop the killer easily for an huge amount of time.)
The last killer adept that I got was pre-emblem and pre-nerf Nurse (I got lucky because the team was very altruistic). Never tried it again, since they became much harder

I agree on 4k. But changing Steam Achievements is hard, but not impossible.

When the game was released, and they had the adept achievement, getting a merciless killer meant killing all 4 survivors.
When they introduced the emblem system later on, they changed the requirements to getting a merciless killer, but not the achievements.
Getting adept killer was always about killing all 4 survivors.

I've tried Bubb adept ten times and always failed, even when i got 30,200 bp just because they manage to do a gen in the first chase
It depends is the survivors are not that good and luck

Adept Plague has to be the hardest killer related achievement in the entire game, period.

I know how it used to work. But if they did that again people would just use a Mori. There wouldn't be much of a challenge.

They should tie the victory conditions (merciless, brutal etc) to the amount of kills like at the time of the Victory Cube, instead of the emblems which are very flawed especially on some killers.
And I say this as someone who managed to get every adept achievement thus far.
