Is Iridescent Button Overpowered?
Just got out of a game as Legion and decided to use iri button since I was going for a rift challenge which required me to use the 3 perks for legion...so wasnt gonna be pretty, lol. Figured the extra tracking from it could come in handy. Also brought along an ebony since the challenge requires me to kill at least 3 and I wanted to get it over with asap. Ended up with a game full of hook suicides and ironmaiden actually coming in handy, lol.
ANYWAYS...endgame chat comes around and I start catchin the usual spiel about how it was an unfun match and everyone suicided because of my mori and my OP addon. I can understand being annoyed at a mori (although I wish I had equipped a shroud just to screw with this guy now that I think about it) but I've never heard anyone claim Iri button was OP. What are your thoughts on this? Is Iri button OP? By this, I dont mean is it OP compared to other UR addons, but rather is it an OP addon in general even...

I don't think the add on is OP. Far from it actually.
I think it's just salt from survivors. You've used both a mori and an ultra rare add-on together so they found an excuse.

Never got to actually mori anyone since they all suicided...which works for me since I just needed 3 of em dead. If they all wanted to DC even, I wouldnt have cared.

People love to seek excuses for why they lost. Even if it didn't come into play.
Heard some people being called a noob for using NOED despite them ending the game before all gens were done and things like that.
It's pvp. People are terrible losers.

People call noed as a noob perk because it allows to get kills that were probably undeserved. Similar to how abusing of DS and BT during end game can create bs scenarios.
NOED needs its movement speed buff to be removed, no one worth their salt will complain about exposed status.

If a killer wipes the floor with a survivor team using only 3 perks all game and NOED never coming into play... it doesnt make sense to then complain about NOED.

Iri Button is only really great if the survivors are bots and drop pallets on a frenzying Legion, in which case they have only themselves to blame. So no, it’s not OP.
They were probably just mad about the mori and wanted to find things to criticise.

Sure, but I explicitly mentioned "despite them ending the game before all gens were done...". Meaning the perk didn't even come into action yet the player still gets blamed for equipping it.
However this thread isn't about NOED, BT or DS. I just used it as an example.

I'd rather take add ons such as Cold Dirt and Joeys Mixtape.

Its one of the best iridescents out there, but its not overpowered by any means

It can be a cherry on top of the salty cake.
Just because a Huntress running iri heads and infantry belt wiped all survivors before they did all gens and her noed didnt activate it doesnt mean people who played against... Well, honestly , a scummy Huntress, people will point out it too. It is an overkill.
Im an old timer, NOED was always frowned upon by more experienced players. It is not as stupidly annoying as back in the day, but it is annoying once you get a potato killer who managed to snack a kill or two because ONLY of this perk. Same goes to survivor's meta and the beloved 2nd chance quad perk set. It works the same way.
OK, lets not derail the topic anymore.
The iri button is far from being op, it barely does anything tbh.

Cooldown is borderline useless from my experience playing legion, if you only equip cold dirt the difference will be barely noticeable and if you stack both of them then you are losing on using other more useful add-ons.

Most of his add ons aren't great, but cutting off over half a second can mean a lot

No.
Survivors shouldn't be throwing pallets against a Frenzying Legion and using it to clear pallets just means you're wasting time breaking pallets and DS'ing yourself when you run out of Frenzy.
It's not garbage by any means and you can probably get a lot of value out of it in specific scenarios, but that's true for a lot of things in the game.

I'd say it's annoying, when you suddenly have the terror radius blasting your ears, but it's not op in my opinion.
