Aftercare VS Bond

Aftercare:

Pros:

+Across the map auras, no matter the health condition of the Survivor.

+Encourages altruism, making it great when paired with Botany Knowledge, Leader, For The People, etc.

+The other Survivors see your aura as well.

Cons:

-Goes away after you get hooked.

-You don't get the effects immediately.

-People may intentionally run to you when chased if they see your aura so that the Killer chases you instead of them.

Bond:

Pros:

+Always active.

+Works well with a stealth playstyle, pairing well with Urban Evasion, Lightweight, Distortion, etc.

+Pairs well with perks that encourage grouping up, such as Prove Thyself and Better Together.

Cons:

-Only a 36 metre range, meaning only auras within the immediate vicinity of you.

-Only you see the auras.

In my opinion, I think Aftercare is the one I prefer, simply because I like across the map auras, though Bond might be the better perk for people who want to combo perks or don't like to be altruistic but still love that nearby aura reading.

What do you think?

I'm honestly not sure. Both of these perks are in my perk rotation.

I prefer Aftercare over Bond as it's saved me and another survivor many times. It's biggest advantage is that, even if I'm Solo Q'ing, if I spot the Killer near me, I can just motion to the survivor to let them know, along with finding a hatch. Bond does have it's advantages, especially if you see someone frantically running toward you, but it's distance of aura revealing is it's downside for me.

I loved aftercare for a long time. However you need to add the fact survivors can intentionally sandbag you as a con. Literally the reason I stopped running it.

Why would people intentionally sandbag you for using Aftercare?

If they are getting chased they will deliberately bring the killer to me to lose chase. I've had this happen multiple times.

Otherwise I absolutely love the perk.

Oh, didn't even think about that. I've never had that happen to me before, but that sounds awful.

    I'll add it.

Aftercare/Bond are similar to Autodidact/Botany Knowledge.

One if stronger than the other but has requirements, if you dont met them they are very meh but when you do they are way better than their permanent weaker version.

It all comes down to what is going to be your playstyle for your next match, if you are going to gen jockey or baiting Bond is better, if you aim for altruistic style Aftercare is much much better.
