Is this a bug?

We all know that being in the middle of an action (working on a gen, vaulting a window, etc.) can be "interrupted." The killer is able to grab you and in essence, one hit you.

A counter to that used to be to stop what you were doing. So if you knew a killer was about to grab you from a locker, you could fast vault out, the killer would then hit you, and you'd be able to continue running (albeit injured).

That hasn't been happening lately. I've jumped over a pallet, completed the action, and the killer grabs me instead of hitting me. I've fast vaulted out of a locker and been grabbed. I've stopped unhooking a survivor and still been grabbed as if I'm in the middle of unhooking.

It sounds like a latency issue to me, but this never happened to this extent before. I've seen it happen to some streamers I watch, too. My internet is good, and as far as I know I'm not going against VPN killers. Is this a bug or did the game change?

You can be grabbed right after getting out of a locker. The rest is a problem with your internet, the killers internet, or the dedicated servers.

Yes sounds like server side to me, must be a lot of latency.

It's been happening so frequently, and not just to me, that I'm wondering if it is a problem with the dedicated servers. I don't think you're supposed to be able to be grabbed right after *completing* getting out of a locker. I don't remember it being like that in the past. Could be wrong though. Thanks for commenting.
