So...I wanted to discuss which killers are most likely to benefit from a perk that requires a survivor taking a protection hit. This isn’t about how to improve the perk or discuss its usefulness, just which killers would run into more scenarios where this perk could trigger (despite what it does).

I tried this perk originally on Pyramid Head first, of course, but didn’t have too many chances to see it in action. An I don’t have this perk on many killers right now but I DID have it on my main (Deathslinger) and realized that while I’m still finding out if it’s useful or not, at least with Deathslinger I was triggering it consistently. Enough to consider trying to make a build around it. I mean, pretty common strat to save the speared and injured survivor with a healthy protection save and those with WGLF will dive in to the rescue, no matter the circumstances. So at least I can confirm Deathslinger personally.

So now that we have a perk that triggers on protection hit, I feel like we can have a better understanding on which killers deal with more altruistic plays and which don’t.

Please share your experiences with this perk and which killer you were using and if it was actually being used or not. Again not about the usefulness of the perk, just about the proc. I like how some killers will favor in oddball perk from time to time and I think this might be mine but I don’t have the BP to figure out which killers could get the most Protection Hits and which ones wouldn’t.

Right now I’m assuming Insta-down killers probably get less and more M1 types get the PH?

I think deathslinger may be the sole beneficiary. Possibly Legion if they manage to hit people close together enough for it to count. It's an extremely limited perk though.

Run Mad Grit/Agitation/Iron Grasp/Forced Penance. Down someone and pick them up and then just start running around and trying to smack the other survivors while carrying one.

Legion is probably the best killer for this perk. They can force protection hits in a way no other killer can. However, it is still extremely situational.
