Hook Hitbox?

What's up with the fact that I can't hit survivors on the hook anymore, it just seems like I'm hitting the wall. I mean sometimes it seems like when survivors coming to save and they don't have a hitbox on the hook anymore. It screws me out of a hit on the one that's unhooking. Like for whatever reason it shifts my aim to the one on the hook on its own and then the one that saves gets away for free then I gotta catch up to them. Is this a bug or do they not want us to hit the ones on the hook at all anymore?

I mean it don't matter to me either way just feels bad when it robs me a of a hit on the unhooker. In my face.
