Don't bring dc penalty back.
The dc penalty was a bad idea from the start. It forces players who are potentially getting bullied all match to have to stay (especially for killer since there is no hook suicide). Also unfairly gives game bans to players whose games crash, it is not the player fault if the game crashes randomly why should they be punished. And more recently hackers that give people Massive game bans for no reason forcing people to not even be able to play the game for several days potentially, this one right here is the most unacceptable one. Please devs the dc penalty is not something that helps the game don't bring it back.

Your final point is completely irrelevant as that's the entire reason the system is currently disabled. It's been proven that the dc penalty system is absolutely an improvement for the game. Your hatred of it is just a give away that you're a rage quitter who can't maturely handle loss.

I'm having nonstop people DC at start of match since the penalty was shut off. It's ridiculous. They need to bring it back, or at the very least give those that don't DC an automatic safety pip.

Yeah let's just allow every one to DC with no penalty just because they got downed in a match after teabagging or got flashlighted as a killer 10 times.
Honestly, they should INCREASE penalty for these players.

Every 2nd game someone dcs for me,doesn't matter whether I play survivor or killer. It's not better at all without the penalties.

Yep, as soon as they put a hold on bans I noticed people doing it at least once a game and almost always at the start.

- Someone popped haunted ground and got me downed, DC
whats even crazier is they aren’t even doing first hook deaths, straight DC... like why not wait the 10 second it takes them to hook you and get points. Between wiggling and multiple cakes you can probably still get a couple thousand

I've been crashing every time I heard the lullaby. It causes my sound driver to crash. I've enjoyed the game more the past few days more than at any time in a very long time. The DC penalty was definitely an anti-fun mechanic.

Actually, sometimes itll ban for you for completing a match. Happened to me a few days ago. I finished a game as Legion and got a 4k, got my bloodpoints, finished a Legion challenge, and boom. When I come back to the menu, a five minute countdown.

Umm... no. I've been playing more than usual lately trying to complete the Rift and the amount of DCs I'm seeing is absolutely ######### ridiculous. First Survivor downed? DC. First hooked? DC. Someone doesn't save you in the first 10s of being hooked? DC
This goes for Killers too, albeit to a lesser degree. Get frustrated because you committed to a chase for 60s before downing them? DC. A Survivor stunned you with Head On? DC.
It's getting ridiculous to be honest. I'd estimate that I'm seeing a DC every 3-4 games; and what's worse, it seems as soon as one Survivor DCs it becomes acceptable for the rest of them to do so when something doesn't go their way.
The DC ban was a HUGE improvement, in my onion. It incentivizes players to remain in the trial, to compete; and kept those using McDonald's WiFi out of (most) of our games.

The main issue I have with penalties is when you get hit by a penalty while you haven't done anything wrong (crash, server hickup, losing connection for a few seconds, being forced to dc because of a bug or hostage situation etc).

I’m glad they took the penalty down.Sometimes I still get kicked out during a few matches.But besides that I’d say the few people who feel like ruining someone’s game experience are purely childish.
