Freddy

Sooooo when is Freddy just gonna get taken out the game. You devs are obviously never going to fix him. His lunge is insane, his basekit is ridiculously powerful, so many perks synergize with his abilities making his 4k rate really really high. Their is almost nothing you can do against a good Freddy they just waste way to much time all the pallets will be gone and their will be nothing to do endgame. Take that man out the game or actually look into him and fix him.

His lunge is the same as every other killer. It only looks longer because his weapon is smaller and because of dedicated servers, so he has to yeet himself so far forward in comparison to, say, trapper, who's weapon is as large as Freddy's entire arm.

His basekit is what every killer should have. Chase potential, game slowdown potential, and a movement ability. He isn't reliant on add-ons like some killers, or perks like others. He's completely self-sufficient and that should be how every single killer is.

He actually has the lowest amount of perks that synergise with his base kit because of the built-in oblivious. Any perks that affect the terror radius, like Infectious Fright, don't work.

The counterplay to freddy? Wake up. That's it. He's an M1 killer who has to waste time waiting for you to fall asleep when chasing you whilst you're awake. Pre-drop pallets and learn how to stay awake, bam he's countered. There are things you can do against a freddy, you don't need specific perks or items or even to change your style of play that much.

I don't understand how people have such an issue with freddy when spirit literally still exists.

I don't know. I get the hate on Freddy, but I agree there should be powerful killers.

I am not one that believes every killer is going to be as strong as the next. Different powers are inherently at different levels of strength. I think it is individual player skill that makes said killer op or underpowered.

If I see a lobby that looks like a swf, I'm taking my spirit, if I care to. Maybe I just want to play clown that day and not sweat the results.

But the strongest thing in the game is a well coordinated 4 man where every one can at least loop proficiently.

I agree, most people don't wake up enough against him. Idc, I am gonna fail the next skill check.
