Chapter Idea - The Conjuring
The Nun
4.6m/s
Tall ↕
32m 🎯
Power: Malevolent Presence
A malevolent force, determined to claim a fresh soul to taint and possess.
Special Ability: Defile
Press and hold the Power button to Stalk a survivor. While stalking, your Terror Radius is reduced by 50%. A fully stalked survivor becomes Defiled by you through dark supernatural energy. Once Defiled, the survivor suffers from the Oblivious and Blindness status effect for 50 seconds.
Stalk rate is not affected by distance.
Defile has a unique visual icon on the HUD.
Special Ability: Haunting Image
Press the Active Ability button to place a Valek Painting into the environment. Press and hold the Active Ability button again to teleport to a Valek Painting within 64m of your position.
Any survivor looking in the direction of a Valek Painting, within 12m, for longer than 1 second will be revealed by Killer Instinct up to 3 seconds after looking away. A survivor within 6m of a Valek Painting will hear disturbing audio that is prominent over most other sounds (crows, footsteps, killer noises, Basic Attacks).
Survivors attempting to unpeg a Valek Painting cannot rotate their camera, and are forced to look at the Valek Painting, revealing their location via Killer Instinct. It takes 4 seconds to unpeg a painting.
Start with 5 Valek Paintings. Can only be placed on walls. A Valek Painting cannot be replaced onto a previously unpegged wall until a 30 second cooldown has expired. Receive an audio notification when a Painting is unpegged.
Perks:
The Nun:
Serpent's Mark - a mark burned into the skin of the victim, indicating a sinister possession has taken hold.
If a survivor is fully healed within 35/40/45 seconds after being unhooked, the next generator they interact with will be revealed to you.
"And like that, an upside down cross started to appear from inside his body." - Lorraine Warren
Hex: Dark Manifestation - illusions plague the mind of your victims.
This Hex appears Dull. After cleansing a Hex totem, the survivor emits a 32m Terror Radius for 30/35/40 seconds. You gain the Undetectable status effect.
However, if this Totem is cleansed, the survivor is placed into the Injured state and Broken for 60 seconds.
"The 3 stages of demonic activity: Infestation...Oppression...and finally Possession." - Ed Warren
A Crooked Mile - your knowledge, power and terror knows no bounds.
If a survivor runs for more than 90/60/30 seconds, outside of chase, they become exhausted for 45 seconds.
"There was a crooked man, he walked a crooked mile..." - Crooked Man
Lorraine Warren:
Psychic Visions - your supernatural power is a special gift to all those around you.
When a teammate drops a pallet within 36m of you, their aura is revealed to all survivors for 3/4/5 seconds.
- This perk deactivates when you are not the Obsession.
- Increases your chances of being The Killer's Obsession.
"One person can change everything. You just have to open up to them." - Lorraine Warren
Death's Image - your ability to channel premontions of darkness into your drawings is a useful tool to finding and destroying evil.
When a teammate is on thier final hook stage, their aura is revealed to you. For each health state you heal them for during this time, they gain a 10% increase towards wiggle speed. Up to maximum of 30%.
The effects of this perk deactivate if you are sacrificed, killed or escape.
"This is as close to Hell as I ever want to get." - Lorraine Warren
I Know Your Name - your knowledge of Hells demons gives you power to defeat them.
After being chased for a total of 90/60/30 seconds the perk activates. While active, the next time you stun the killer, the stun is increased by 2 seconds. This perk has a cooldown of 180 seconds.
"Your name gives me dominion over you, demon, and I do know your name!" - Lorraine Warren
Map: Carta Monastary - The Cloister
So, what do you guys think? Constructive criticism is highly encouraged.

Its in my discussions i have an idea for a witchy survivor.
However considering lorraine is psychic i dont see why she cant use them.
Not saying the perks you came up with for her are not good. I like them very much including: death's image

I kind of feel like the first part of the power is a waste of time. I waste my time stalking to give them an alert that they're oblivious and blind and they're gonna run anyway. More often they'll spot you than run straight into you so may as well just chase them from the get go.
She has no power or pressure in a chase at all, her only real map control, like Demogorgon, can be dismantled so that pretty much sucks for reliability.
"Serpent's Mark" only serves to make tunneling easier, something that should never be encouraged by a perk so blatantly.
"A Crooked Mile" would basically have to be a hex, or only apply once at a time on a cooldown.
"I Know Your Name" seems disgustingly strong. Adding 2 seconds to a stun seems ok once, but when it's on 4 different survivors and you tank huge windows where they get basiclly as far away as DS AND have a pallet in front of you, that sucks. It would be like facing old DS every game except you don't even get to down or injure them.

@anarchy753 let me see if I can shift your perspective of the power overall:
The power isn't restricted by distance, which means she can afflict Blindness and Oblivious onto a survivor without any intention of approaching them just yet. This would help her prevent cross map-saves since that survivor would be less-aware of her presence, and also not see where the hooked survivor is unless they had a clear los. This would help her in chase too, since she doesn't need to attack right away, catching survivors off guard and out of position. Also, the fact her TR is 50% smaller while stalking, it would be harder for the survivors to pinpoint her location and add a paranoia to her gameplay which always helps the killer.
Her Haunting Image ability allows her free intel which is always valuable. As well as free map navigation in and out of chase, like Freddy. The ability to remove the power is a requirement, but I don't feel would hurt her much, since she is a stealth killer, meaning if a survivor is Oblivious while unpegging it, they're taking a massive risk. As well as her being able to get a free approach after the unpeg happens too.
Serpent's Mark - I wouldn't necessarily say it encourages tunneling, it can certainly be used in that way, but it'd be one of those perks that hurts a survivor that is careless and doesn't pay attention to telltale signs of a killer perk in-play. It also helps a killer have passive intel knowing where to be, since most likely, if a survivor gets unhooked, healed and then jumps on a gen, most likely they're doing a co-op repair. It also encourages the killer to let them heal if they're already focusing someone else when the rescue happens.
Crooked Mile - Would the Hex or cooldown effect be absolutely necessary? Maybe a visual timer on the bottom of the HUD beside the perks showing a survivor the Crooked Mile icon filling up would be all that it needs? Like when Thanat or DL is in effect.
I Know Your Name - it is 30 seconds individually, afterall, that's a lot of chase time; with 3mins of cooldown too. Most likely, a survivor will use it twice in a match at maximum. Although, perhaps 90/60/45 would be a tad more managable from the killers side. What do you think? Since any less than 2 seconds on the stun increase feels like it wouldn't be worth it. Enduring would still affect pallet stuns. It would just be Head-On, DS and general Grasp Escapes/Rescues that have no perk counter from the killer side.

I would love to play a witchy character there so many character troupes and cliches that can be done with this game including when coming up with perks that make sense with the character.
I love licensed chapters because perk ideas have to really encourage or compliment character play style
