Make an option to switch old freddy’s power
I miss the old times when Freddy wasn’t reworked. So i came up with the idea... it would be great if you can switch the old Freddy’s power, i know he was weak. Just buff him a little bit, decrease the timer of 7 seconds to 3 or maybe 4, rework some of his old add-ons and bam, it’s done. Maybe they can do the same with legion?
Freddy was a really fun killer to use and winning with him was very satisfying.

But imagine going back to pre-rework nurse? That would be insane.
They wouldn't do any of this because it would probably be too much to keep balancing and for the sake of consistency.

I disagree. She was fine, a majority of people just played against her like any other killer and refused to do anything but run loops. But I digress.
Why would you want to play old Freddy? He was literally an m1 killer and his only power was putting people into dream world so he can actually do something to them. It was dumb to wait while in a chase before you could interact with them
It was dumb when awake survivors could just keep failing skillchecks and never go to sleep
It was dumb when you downed someone and an awake survivor came over and started healing them in front of your face because you couldn't do anything about it for 7 seconds
It was dumb when you would hook someone and they would just immediately unhook in your face because the 7 seconds
Don't get me wrong I had fun with old Freddy back in the day but he had so many problems, we are way better off with him as he is now.

I don’t care if he was a m1 killer he was just fun to play, there’s nothing wrong to add an option for playing the old one. It’s not about the strongest killer, it’s about the most challenging one
and as i said they can buff the old version a little bit, decreasing the timer and reworking his old add-ons

New Nurse cannot catch up to a survivor with her blinks in certain situations....she isn’t OP and old nurse wasn’t either, all she needed was an Add-on pass so she would lose OMEGAblink

Well just like Nurse getting a non janky power meter it's very unlikely Freddy will ever have something to revert him back to his previous version.
