Exposed
My nephew started playing this game not too long ago. I was watching him play a match yesterday against a Myers. Within 10 seconds of the match starting exposed kicked in. It was basically never off after that. Every time it went off it immediately came back on.
I don't recall ever seeing that before. Especially a rank 18 killer. The match lasted almost 20 minutes. It was obvious all the players in the match were newbies. I mean despite this killer having nonstop exposed it was obvious he didn't have a lot of experience.
So my question is how a newbie killer manages to have nonstop exposed for 20 minutes when I don't see it with much higher level killers.

It's an add on, I believe it's called Tuft of hair. Reduces your movement speed but makes it so that after stalking for alot longer than usual, you'll have T3 permanently.

Yeah but exposed popped within 10 secs of match, cant do that with tuft

A Myers with "faster evil within gaining" addons only can go thru tiers veeeery quickly. Almost a meme build.

I could totally imagine even a rank 18 Myers playing against brand new players spawning near a gen with a few survivors on it and getting up to tier 3 before they realize what's going on. It would be longer than 10 seconds, but I'm sure 10 seconds isn't an exact number. You could easily do this in 30 seconds depending on the map and spawns.

Had a match where i spawmed by a gen. An Adam spawned with me and told me to follow him. He ran us right by a Myers who im guessing just loaded in and started stalking. He hit tier 3 and downed me and the notification that he hit tier 2 never even sounded.
I chalked it up to being so early in the game the map was still loading and didnt have time to update

It sounds to me a lot like what this guy suggested:
It could be Myers was running Add-Ons to gain his power faster, and rather than applying pressure through normal attacks he focused completely on Stalking and was always in the right place at the right time to immediately stalk somebody as soon as he got out of his power so he could get back into T3.
That's all it seems like to me.

Well, hard to say its someone cheating without seeing it myself, but its not out of the realm of possibility that it was a chain of exposed effects, i.e Haunted Grounds into Fragrant tuft of hair, or even more likely, just exaggeration. With tuft of hair it still only takes 20s of stalking or so to get tier 3, even less with an addon to speed it up.

With the Tuft you only need to get to Tier 3 once and then you have it for the match, though. If it was actually turning off briefly and then coming back on right away for the entire match that to me says it could be a hacker. I was assuming OP just wasn't sure if it actually shut off briefly and was just assuming it had just winked off and back on again.

Trying a general response to most of the comments here:
10 seconds was definitely a guess. It was quick. Could have been more. Could have been less. Don't think it was as long as 30, but who knows. It was on PS4 so I wasn't looking at it as a cheating thing.
I was legit wondering if some noob had figured out a trick or gimmick hardly anyone else knew about, or maybe caught a glitch somehow that allowed him to have unlimited exposed for that particular match.

I mean it's possible but you have to have a bunch of potato survivors who feed the Myers hardcore

Did you check his add-ons ? There's an ultra rare that gives him unlimited EW3. Maybe some rank 20 survivors "feed" him his power and that's why he got it that quickly.

did the killer down anybody during the Tier III Exposed periods? If he did not, he receives nearly half of his power bar back to compensate for losing a non-renewable resource.

I was going to check them, but my nephew was too impatient to stop. He wanted to get to the next match. But that's possible I assume because they were all noobies.

I'll almost guarantee that the OP is exaggerating.
######### like that ALWAYS seems like it happened faster than it actually did when on the receiving end. For the killer it probably seemed like an eternity.
