Why everyone should cake up every game
I'm really surprised at how frequently some of you guys aren't caking up or even worse aren't using any offerings at all. Cake gains are exponential. If everyone burns a cake you get more BP to unlock even more cakes. So 1 cake burnt becomes 5 cakes gained. 5 cakes burned becomes 25 cakes gained. Anyone holding on to cakes or refusing to burn them is making a big mistake. The only exception would be if you yourself are a 4000 hour player who doesn't need BP. But it would still be kind of you to bring one to help out others players who are not.
EDIT: For anyone thinking that you are wasting them for reason XYZ do the math first. A 10K BP game is still 55K with 5 cakes. That is enough for a blood web. If you get 1.5 (1 or 2) cakes per web you just got ahead.

The cakes seem WAY more generous on the killer side then the survivor side I've noticed (I essentially stopped playing survivor for the event for that very reason). I get 1-3 cakes PER Bloodweb on killer side where surv I get a cake about every 1-2 Bloodweb
So while I'd like more cakes in my matches, I kind of understand why there are so many not using them in my matches.

Why would anyone NOT use a cake?
I'm actually confused when I get into a match and I'm the only one that put one up. What are they waiting for, exactly?

I wish they kept the cake rate high, like it was. Whiners about 'not enough event flashlights and medkits' ruin the whole thing.

You're at least almost guaranteed to replace every used cake with two more. It's weird seeing people acting so stingy with them right now.

Use cake so the killer can bring a ebony mori and get a free 400% bp + bbq

I use cake with my friends not with random. Everytime i tried it it was such a waste.

But they're effectively almost infinite right now if you're using them.
There's no reason to get less points - thus less cakes - every game, just so you can save 1 cake.

When I play killer I always burn a cake.

Even if you die with a score of 10K if everyone caked up you just earned 55K. Think about how much 55K is compared to a non-event game. Even with such a low score that BP will still get you even more cakes. You need to completely think through your reasoning before you opt of bringing a cake just because you don't do well with randoms.

I'm burning cakes like they're going out of fashion. I not only keep finding them in bloodweb but in mystery boxes in the web too.

I refuse to burn them because pretty much everyone is playing scummy right now.
