Soundsmiths Steryotypes: DBD Edition (Aka a Parody)(((Episode 1? Maybe?)))
Y'know, survivors tend to have a pretty great time when playing the game, and sometimes hell, they're having the most fun they could have. How can you tell? Well frankly you can't, so instead we'll look at the perks people use and see what kinda people they are. Maybe they're the fun loving kinda people, or maybe they're just...not the kind of person you would want at a party.
DISCLAIMER: stereotypes don't mean everyone is like that. Just because something bad is said about a perk doesn't mean everyone who uses it is a filthy meta user or something.
----------------
Dead by Daylight Perk Stereotypes (Survivor / Muti-Survivor Perks)
-----------------
Dark Sense
Having the ability to see the Killer everytime a generator is completed is pretty good, and people who use this perk will abuse the ######### out of this whenever they can, wither it via be some good ol gen rushing, or just running away harder whenever a generator is completed. Sadly though, much better perks exist but they're too used to this perk.
Deja Vu
HEY YOU! Yeah yeah you, do you HATE 3 gens? Do you despise how the Killer can basically keep you in a game forever because you ######### up and did the wrong gens? Well fear not this perk is just for you. Anyhow yes, some people do use this perk if they just want to completely avoid a 3 gen situation. Nothing much else to say there really. Also...
DEJA VU, I'VE BEEN TO THIS PLACE BEFORE(Kill me)
Hope
Y'know, some people think that the 7% is #########, but it's not THAT #########, like sure it's #########, but you can at least extend chases during the endgame, meaning hey, more looping am'right? Sadly though nobody really uses this perk because it requires it to be the endgame, so there's not many steryotypes when it comes to this.
Kindred
Now this is the definition of a VERY good perk. Not up there with the meta, but you can see alot of players use it, mostly new players when starting out in the game, as it provides some very good info to not only you, but your team if you're on the hook, so you can use this in a team of sorts if you want, or just use it as a "I wanna get tunneled" build. Whatever the case may be, go for it.
Lightweight
Another pretty good new player perk for most, as it allows you to have your scratch marks vanish faster, which can possibly save you in some cases, however if you're injured or the Killer has tracking perks, then 3 less seconds of scratch marks doesn't seem like the best thing.
No one left behind
It's funny how many perks in this game have to do with blood hunts in someway, like we get it, blood points are cool, but when you have an entire perk which is mostly just a meme blood point perk, then you KNOW somethings in some way wrong. Not even new players are gonna be using this one, so the steryotype for this one is pretty nonexistent.
Plunders Instinct.
These guys really love just grabbing items in anyway they can. They love searching chests and love finding good items, and most likely if they're using plunders instinct, they're using Ace in the Hole as well. Usually these guys aren't playing that seriously because so, so don't expect them to try and go into the basement to save you from a Insidious Bubba.
Premonition.
So these people are most likely forgetting that Spine chill exists, and or refuse to use it for whatever reason. Anyhow not alot of people use it because again, Spine Chill exists already, so using a perk which is basically a worse verison of a good perk is pretty stupid.
Resilence.
Vault builds vault builds oh the vault builds. That's the only time you'll really see Resilence being used, otherwise it's considerably not that good compared to most perks in the game. I mean sure, doing some things 9% faster while injured is good and all...but you're injured, so you're basically exposing yourself just to open a chest 9% faster. You might see some new players run this perk though, as they think the 9% will do them any good(Spoiler alert: it won't)
Slippery Meat
Nobody uses this seriously, unless they're tryna go for a clip in their EPIC KOBE MONTAGE which will just end up with them getting downed and sacrificed after doing so.
Spine Chill
Ah yes, Spine Chill, aka the biggest "######### you" to any Stealth killers that exist. Oh want to sneak up on me while i'm working on a generator as Pig? SPINE CHILL Oh, want to jumpscare me with Myers in Tier 1? SPINE CHILL. Just, Spine Chill. Sadly though, Spine chill doesn't fully compare to THE META perks of DBD, so sure, alot of people will use it, but chances are they won't do as good with someone who has a full on meta build.
This is not happening.
Does...does anyone even use this perk? No seriously, who uses this perk? Now sure, New players could use a perk like this, but they might not even have a chance to use the perk if they're already in the chase, thus making it pretty pointless. Plus people can just get better at skill checks so yeah...pretty bad of a perk.
We'll make it.
This is...actually a pretty good perk people use in most cases. Not alot but still, a 100% increase in healing speed means you can just get instantly someone back into the game without the Killer possibly getting back before you finish healing. Not alot of people use this perk though simply because THE META exists.
And with that, that's episode 1 finished. I probably won't continue this in the future and just wanted to make a concept for the parody of sorts, so i want to see what perk stereotype ideas you have down in the comments.
