Non-Horror licensed DLC's?

Hey could I get everyone's opinion on something? Its about future DLC's that come from non-horror licenses. Now I know what you're all thinking, it wouldn't make sense for a non horror license to fit in DBD. But honestly, I think it would, and hear me out. The entity doesn't select survivors only when they have encountered something horrific, like monsters or killers. It will just select survivors that it wants in its realm, which would allow the devs to do non-horror licenses to broaden the entities realm and the fan base.

For example, I believe survivors from the marvel of DC universe would be a great addition to the game. And just to mix things up, I also think it would be cool to see a survivor from a non-horror related license like 'the office'. Maybe not that show exactly, but I hope everyone knows what I'm aiming at in this discussion

No. It doesn't look good in this game.

Yeah, I can see it. But I think it would at least need to be from a survival setting. Like Tom Hanks' character from Cast Away. Or just a series that has killers, but not necessarily horror. Like Reed from Criminal Minds.

I don't see marvel or dc characters fitting here at all but I'm curious who do you have in mind.

Problem with Marvel or DC characters as survivors is their power though. If it is implemented as perks then it’s not tied to the character and would not make sense at all. Same goes with characters like Buffy by the way..

I don’t want to see characters from completely non-horror licenses like The Office.. but that’s just personal preference, nothing in the lore really limits them to horror franchises.

maybe villains could work as killers?

I’d love to say HELL YEAH, seeing as how my username is Harley Quinn lol. I’d love to be able to play my girl in DBD. Alas, I’m not sure if DBD is the right fit for those characters.
