New Game Mechanic Concepts

Since the breakable walls, I wondered what other things could be implemented in the game while still balanced. Here are a list of things I thought of.

Ladders: Survivors can use them to get to higher levels quicker, but if the killer reaches the bottom/top, he can kick them down, forcing survivors off and rendering them unusable. The killer can also grab injured survivors off in arms reach.

Reverse Pallet Stun: Survivors must utilize pallets properly or they risk the killer flipping the pallet back up and stunning them instead when too close. The pallet becomes reusable afterwards.

Water: Not really a mechanic, but I yet to see a single tile of water in the game maps. Players can't cross water with an exception to certain killer powers. Unlike walls, players can still see eachother from across. Mind games therefore are ineffective. Long tiles of water can be used for effective loops though.

Proning: Survivors now have the ability to prone as if they're in the dying state, but it'll take a moment to get back up and movement during prone is just as slow. Great for hiding under small obstacles/grass, but leaves players vulnerable for grabs.

Firecrackers: It would be nice if they were no longer event exclusive items and had their own rarities/add-ons. The add-ons can effect charges, blast radius, blind duration, and detonation time. The Ultra rare addon can enable firecrackers to blind the killer even if he isn't looking and don't blind survivors.

Baseball Bat: Survivors now have a way to defend themselves introducing a new item. It can stun the killer for 1-2 seconds on successful hits and save carried survivors. Best used in jukes. The rarities/addons modify the charges, stun duration, swing speed, and range. The Ultra Rare add-on can have the user gain the haste status effect for 1-2 seconds on successful hits with a slight decrease to charges.

Anyway these are some ideas that'll probably never happen or aren't balanced, but any new mechanics can pave way for more unique perks or add a risk factor to the game that makes playing more satisfying.
