Why we can't change the in-game chase musics?
The community is doing pretty good job so far, but devs just don't see them or don't try to use them.
There is a lot of better work from original ones, even the makers of song contacted them(i know that) but no one replied.
I think we should do this. Don't you think it will be so fun?
And I'm not saying that like, I'm the Killer, and I change my music to nothing to survivors can't hear it. I mean, ONLY I CAN HEAR IT.
It's like changing your skins in CS:GO with and in a server.

If you as Killer can't hear it, it's easier for you to track Survivors making sounds. It's a matter of fairness to players. There's a reason the music volume can't be adjusted in this game.

That makes sense. What about menu theme music? I would love to be able to listen to that awesome Stranger Things Chapter music all day long.

Yeah...unfortunately the game wants to hide information, but isn't really sure how to do it in a mechanical way.
So instead they just assault killers senses constantly. Horrible nausea inducing FoV, ear-piercing blaring sounds, maps and visuals so dark as to cause eye fatigue, and so on.
It's like the handicaps from Harrison Bergeron, only it's not science fiction, they're actually doing it to people. 😂

You still can. Just select the Demogorgon in the killer select screen if you wanna listen to it. But yeah I agree it’d be nice to change the menu theme as an option.

I believe they said they would like to in the future. Well see if that happens though.
I'm just wondering what would Nurse's music sound like? Would there be a lot of coughing or struggling to breath sounds because nty.

You understood it wrong, sir. I'm not trying to say the killers can hear their music, survivors just will hear it.

Y'all have a weird definition of fair. Survivors can see in 3rd person, block all of their injured sounds, hear the killer from 32m away, and see which direction killer is coming from. Killer can't hear due to chase music, is limited by 1st person, and literally can't see someone that's right in front of them.
The killer is supposed to be a hunter, but all of your senses are crippled.

@Almo For everything that is holy, PLEASE let us choose a theme for the menu when starting up and the theme in the map. I ADORE your Christmas music and theme every year with the lights on the lockers and such. Its AMAZING. Put it in the battle pass as an option for killers to choose a theme for the map since you guys work so hard on them!
Would love a Christmas theme all year :D I'd play as Dwight the Elf and Chris Kringle the Clown all the time. Hell, it would be awesome to have Margarita Mixer gens from the summer BBQ as themed generators. Make them charms that change the generators and such. Hell, make it $10 for a permanent version and I'd buy it!
