You first hook suicides are the most toxic...
and worthless POS in this game. You literally ruin the game for everyone else in it all because your fragile ego gets hurt that you got caught first. Suicide on hook is worse than face camping any day. Almost every single game for the past 3 days I've had 1-2 people suicide on first hook. There needs to be a penalty for this. Massive loss of bloodpoints and an extended ban time. Haven't been able to play a normal match in 3 days and I'm beyond over it.

When I say suicide on hook I'm talking instantly. No face camping, just straight out played and quit. Or they DC after getting downed too fast. Cry me a river and keep playing. I go to get you off hook and you suicide in front of me? The disrespect. Smh. Don't like playing against a certain killer? Maybe don't play the game? You ruin the match for everyone when you instantly quit. Especially when these people sometimes wait 15 minutes or more for a game.

I hate this even as a mostly killer main cuz it ruins 4 people’s game and if I get a win and clap some cheeks it’s not as satisfying as I now have a wider advantage

When my teammates kill themselves on hooks - I just say to myself “I understand” and just keep playing, it's their choice.

if they're being camped, not being saved, or they thinkt hey'll get tunneled I don't blame em since it's minutes spent that could go into a match where they could make some bloodpoints and/or have some fun. you have to remember they aren't workers, they're players... just like you. if it isn't gonna be funf or them, and they'll not make anything for it happening so early and feeling like they'll probably get tunneled before they get many points being the first guy hooked... they're gonna wanna not waste their time there. The time adds up eventually into whole entire matches worth of time that could net them a lot of bloodpoints from other matches combined together. Basically, they're either not having any fun, just had a match or two where they got camped or tunneled and don't wanna put upw ith it again, or they're leaving bloodpoints on the table... time is money is the saying and bloodpoints are the game's money.
Once the cakes are gone it's gonna happen more often since killers seem to like tunneling the first guy hooked, and the reason you may have seen it spike lately is because lately myself I've noticed fewer cakes being used by survivors. So they just realize they're not really losing anything and the next match could have many more cakes or at least some cakes. It's a practical decision considering the time spent for no gains and having no fun as well. I expect it to happen much more often once cakes are gone, or people start saving them for the next double bp event or something. It just makes sense, people don't log on to run a soup kitchen they log on to have fun or make bp and dot heir prestige or get teachables they need unless they're the sort just gets on to troll other survivors and the killers.

Honestly? It depends on the lobby.
Some killers I just don't want to play against. I didn't go into a lobby so I can be camped by a Billy or Leatherface, or hooked and then watch a Ghost Face t-bag like gettin me first is the highlight of his life and now he tryna get friction burn on his balls.
I'll also yeet if I'm against a doc who just spam-shocks over and over and over again. I'm not here for that game. I don't wanna do it, I don't wanna watch it be done, and I don't care who is upset by it.
Heck sometimes I'll be on the hook and I'll see two survivors hiding and one missing bc they in a closet and know we're not getting gens done in this game and see myself out.

Ive considered it recently. Here I am with 2000 hours on the game being put with survivors with 100 hours, they’re red ranks too. You can see their auras, they get hit, run in a circle, get hit 5 seconds later.
5 minutes in the game and the only gens done were done by me, the unhooks are done by me, and everyone else is lasting 5 seconds in each chase then yeah I’m gonna bail. Its so tiresome being expected to carry a team every game

That's absolutely a horribly way to look at it. "I'm not having fun because I got found too fast so I'm going to make the game not fun for 4 other people". Sounds like entitled children crying to me. Not every match is going to be "fun" because a lot of times you have to sweat for the win. That's the nature of competitive games. If you can't handle competition then maybe find a single player adventure game to play instead of constantly ruining other people's gaming experience because you can't handle it🤷 it's absolutely a huge problem and needs a change.
