The worst nerf of all...

The fact that you can't change killer while waiting for a match!

This doesn't seem like an issue, but what if I wanna play oni? I like playing him in game but he screams SO MUCH while waiting for a match. I prefer to switch to another killer while waiting, but now that isnt possible.

Also, what if I change my mind before a match to play a different killer? Guess I gotta either play the entire match or leave the lobby to find another one.

Why did they remove this? It is literally the icing on top of the chainsaw update.

Is this in PTB only? As far as I know you can still change killers in the actual lobby so you can just change it when there's the minute timer.

Yep this is PTB only and I can only assume it's because each killer has a seperate MMR rating, and so you dont wanna queue up as Bubba with a low rating (cause you dont play him) then switch to Freddy (who you play a lot) in the lobby to get easy matches.

Remember when they removed the ability to switch between killer and survivor in the pre-lobby screen? And people say the Devs don't want to divide us.

I can change mine easily on ps4 while in the lobby.

Ah that would make sense if they're stealth testing the per killer MMR. I'd love to see that soon tbh.

I’ve heard rumors that this is due to the new MMR matchmaking coming up. I guess one of the factors calculated is which killer you use.

if you do poorly with a certain killer, maybe cuz you’re new to him, then it should match you with easier survivors. However, if you get a full lobby and then switch to a killer that you’re a beast with, that not fair to those weakling survs.

It'll prevent killers from last minute switching.

So survivors will be able to abuse the logs even further by looking at who will be the killer.

    And you'll be stuck.
