Did Blindness get changed in the PTB?

I don't see anything in the patch notes however when being downed with Knockout, you get deafened like when the Hag uses the Disfigured Ear addon. Is the deafen from Knockout or is it from the Blindness status effect?

I'm hoping it is a part of Blindness because it would make it a much more powerful status effect.
