Should the overheat mechanic be removed on Hillbilly
Many people in the community are upset over the recent PTB released regarding the new changes to Hillbilly's power. They say that the overheat mechanic weakens an already balanced killer. Personally I think that Hillbilly's base kit is balanced, and the overheat mechanic weakens Hillbilly's ability way too much, but then again, Hillbilly is one of the only killers I play, so I'm definitely biased.

Yes it should be removed. It encourages bubba play, run up behind a play and instadown them because you are not able to waste any attempt of your saw. Sorry why bother to attempt flicks,curves when you will be punished in order to go for the skilled play?
It is another unfun mechanic nobody asked for that will remove a fun part from dbd.
Do not let that be a thing of the past.

As for the topic, hell yes it needs to go. Everything about his rework needs to go except maybe the roar he makes when using his chainsaw. It’s hilarious.

As funny as it is, it also makes the apex muffler FAR less useful than it should be. So I'd remove it too, possibly as an effect of the muffler and keep it on basekit.

Overheat is almost fine.
Just need a 20-30% slower rate on charging

Ofc it makes a diffrence. Before there was instasaw to encourage that playstyle and people tend to take the easy route. As you can see there have been people who mastered billy, why punish them? With the upcoming change that is all a billy will ever do. Doesn't it make you sad that there is stuff like this in the game that will vanish? Skilled play is something that should be encouraged and treasured.

I doubt they will remove the Overheat-Mechanic. I guess they will tweak some numbers for Live Release tho.

The poll option would've been nice here.
I believe that there should be some number changes in addition to the ones they've already announced. However it probably isn't anywhere near as big a deal as it was before now that they've made his cooloff faster and feathering less punished.

I feel the addon changes or the overheat changes are fine, BUT not both together, and if its only overheat let there be 2 new basegame addons that make him play like old billy
