Best "Help out the team" build?
I am not the strongest player so was thinking of a build to help my teammates out. My thinking is
Vigil
Streetwise
Provethyself
Leader
That covers help with most things. Would you say this is a good helpful build or do you have any other ideas?

I'd go with:
Kindred
Borrowed Time
Prove Thyself
Leader

Borrowed Time and We'll make it is better than any of those. And you need better perks for yourself. Help your team by helping yourself. If you don't have DS for example then you will get on the hook again, and the team will have to step in. If you don't have Inner Strength your teammates must spend time healing you etc.

I've recently been using:
For The People - Helping out slugs, or getting an injured teammate to healthy when you know the killer is on their way and they are closer to death hook.
Iron Will - Helps you to hide after using FTP, indirectly helps the team as you don't need to be healed even when broken status goes away and can focus on others.
Spine Chill - Could be swapped but I really like it solo against stealth killers, helps inform when to use FTP in a crucial moment or if you can get the heal off beforehand.
Inner Strength or Dead Hard - Inner Strength so people don't spend time healing you, and helping prevent NOED. Dead Hard for the time when you are broken to defend yourself, especially good if the killer is instadown since FTP allows you to use dead hard and takes away the vulnerability of being healthy.
I like the combination of self / team perks as a solo queue player. But I'm still experimenting with For The People builds since I recently unlocked Zarina with shards!

I like my build; Bond, Borrowed Time, Prove Thyself and We'll make it.

I don't like how most people before me left out exhaustion perks, lasting long in chases is one of the best ways you can help your team.
Also, there aren't 4 best altruism perks to play with. There are many that are useful in different scenarios. BT and Well Make It are amazing hook perks; Autodidact and Botany Knowledge are pretty good healing perks; Prove Thyself and Resilience are pretty good gen perks etc etc. Leader I would say is more of a selfish perk, most of the time it only works when you are being healed.
Personally I think gen rushing builds are the most altruistic since the faster you can do gens the less people will die. Also weirdly I have a higher win ration when I use these perks. The combo is Prove Thyself + Stake Out which is actually a pretty good combo. I would recommend trying that.

BT and We Will Make It.
maybe also consider Kindred if you play solo Q, it helps your time when you are hooked to coordinate but it also helps you knowing what’s going on while someone is hooked and how you can make good use of either BT or WWMI

Thanks guys for the ideas.
I was looking for a build to help out stronger team mates whilst I try to improve lasting longer in chases.
I think if you and your team only have tier 1 or 2 exhaustion perks then vigil is good as 60 seconds turns into 48 if tier 3 which can be vital.
Prove thyself as well, as the quicker you get gens done, the quicker you get out of here. Any of the other perks you guys suggested would be good here. BT and Kindred probably my last 2
