Is there ever going to be 240hz/fps support?

The game is capped at 60 currently, is there any plans to support higher frequencies? Even 120?

On PC you can go to GameUserSettings.ini and change 'FrameRateLimit=' to 120, for example. So you can cap the FPS to 120. Not sure if you knew that, but there you go.

I thought I read somewhere that it was capped at 60. Does it actually give you those frames? I'll try it later though thank you.

Probably not going to be any official support, no. .ini editing is the only way to uncap the frame rate. Although I'm not sure if it is still possible, what with the Devs blocking most .ini editing because of arseholes that were using graphical "tweaks" to gain unfair advantages.

It is still possible to get more frames by editing the file.

For some reason they have hard capped the FPS you can get to 120. I used to be able to get 165 FPS (which is what I have it capped to). So if you change the limit to 240, you'll still be capped at 120. There may be a way around that too by further editing the ini file, but I have no experience with that.

I genuinely have no idea, sorry. I do know that if you can still edit that, it won't magically revert to.its original cap. Which doesn't really help, sorry.

I think you misread my comment. Editing ini files can give you more fps. If that is something people want to do with the game being horribly optimized is another story. It felt more fluent to play with 120fps but on certain maps, like Ormond, the game started stuttering. So I play with 60fps now and hope for this game to some day have a proper optimization.

Ok thanks for clearing that up. I can't wait to Nurse at 120.
