Why are a lot of killers freeloading on survivors event cakes?

You get cakes too. You could hoard more cakes if you just would burn cakes. Remember, it takes money to make money.

Instead, I saw this during the whole event:

  • Very often no event cake
  • Rarely a event cake
  • Too often for this event, a mori instead of an event cake

Fellow killers, why are you like that?

There are dailies to do as well, maybe some of the killers don't have cakes on them because they are not interested in levelling those killers.

I have been burning cakes with killer most games, bloody party streamers if I don't have cakes and a few dailies left me with nothing to offer except solo bonus bp.

I have also had a lot of survivors not using cakes too. On average I roughly estimate these figures throughout the event in my games.

    5 cakes 10%

    4 cakes 20%

    3 cakes 30%

    2 cakes 20%

    1 cake 15%

    0 cakes 5%

Usually when I play killer I'm the only one putting cakes so I'm just going to say that is your luck.

Looool what is it about cakes?

Gosh, even all my friends in this game are cake crazy. SHe seekin em out like hell in the bloodweb, askin everybody in the chat like "Cakes? Cakes? U put a cake, I'll put a cake"

Why is everyone so pressed about em? Like BP are nice but tbh it's not THAT hard to come by that not having 5 cakes in a game will be a huge loss.

That said, I really don't think I HAVE seen a killer put down a cake in most of my matches. I can only recall once because my friend screamed in my ear "FIVE CAKES!!!"

I always brought a cake, besides the time someone brought a key. Though most of my matches now maybe two others bring a cake. I kind of understand it though, since cake drops were reduced. I took a lot of survivor's from 40-50 during the event and after cakes were reduced it didn't feel worth it. I'd make just enough to get ten levels. Where as on all of the killers I leveled to 50 during the event had 40+ cakes.

I bring a cake when I feel like I should or I want too. Its entirely up to me what I bring into the match regardless of what others want.

In my personal experience it seems to be pretty even. The past few days seems to be killers almost always using a cake and at least 1 survivor using a cake. I'm seeing tons of streamers too.

there are 20 killers and if you want to play a variety of them sometimes you dont have a cake on the killer you want to play next. Survivors often pick a main and stay on this because its just a skin so if they level them up they have many cakes on one survivor.

Because they dont want survivors getting points, and using the mori is for them to ensure only they get points. A lot of these players are extremely toxic

    Killers?

    As survivor, i haven't used a single cake. 😀

I feel the opposite. Survivors often ignores the cakes and killer brings cake or bloody party streamer. I don't either understand why people hoard them? There should be 5 cakes every game because people should have hundreds of these by now.

For me it's the other way around.

My Survivors seem to either put nothing, or personal BP.

Especially as killer playing something with BBQ and a good set of perks is a lot more impactful than having a cake on a freshly prestiged killer. At least as survivor you can basically go in perkless and still know you'll get a similar amount of points.

    4 gateaus + 1 mori = cakes and fingers. Happy Clown 🤡

Killers seemed to be more generous with cakes than survivor in my games. Except for yesterday where I faced 4 moris.. and 5 dlgoshebrfjzoah hags......

Honestly as survivor I usually burn nothing. If I do I'm usually the first found and tunneled out. Same thing if I run Deliverance. I'm guaranteed to be found first.

Survivors are technically all the same so swapping them out if you get cakes on them isn't going to effect gameplay. Killers are all different and if you level them for the perks and only play one or two then you're cakes are gonna run out quicker.

I find it more irritating too get tunneled when I put up a cake then someone not using a cake though. Such a waste to only get aqround 10k points multiplied because you couldn't do anyhting else besides looping the killer around.

That’s like me asking why would a survivor burn a map offering instead of a cake? Stop making these petty arguments one sided as they always work both ways. People are free to play how they choose. Nobody is obliged to burn a BP offering. I think a lot of people need to realise that you’re playing a game with real people and unfortunately not everybody thinks the way you do. Stop making up faux-rules and trying to enforce them.
