4 year event appreciation post
I just wanted to say to the devs, this event has been one of the most fun and least toxic times for me in DBD in a LONG time! I'm not sure if it's everyone getting increased BP, the more common anniversary flashlights and medkits, or the Silent Hill chapter addition (maybe a combination of everything), but I've been having a complete blast as survivor and killer.
I even convinced 3 friends to start playing the game! They are loving it so far and one of them even swore they would never play this game because they "can't do scary games" lol. After a few matches, he was hooked. We now have a full party and sometimes we need to cycle out players to ensure everyone gets a chance to squad up!
I'm super stoked for what is in store for DBD in the future! You devs keep releasing content that somehow manages to top the last while improving the base game bit by bit. While there will always be the bugs and imbalances, you always have such passion for the game and its community and it clearly shows in your final product.

I agree. This has been one of the best events so far if not the best. I recently managed to get my Mr. YeeHaw to P3 AND get all my favourite perks on him. It just felt so much easier getting 100K+ BP after every single match. I’m excited to see what they have in store for us during Halloween.

I LOVED this event. Would be cool to have reskins not just for claud but for nea too because she also has a beanie. But that's just me

I feel this haha. I got the halos for Nea and Claud since I play them a decent amount, but I HATE their base heads so it would definitely be nice to be able to change that.

Start of the event was pretty bad with killers putting on moris and tunnelling survivors, to deny them getting crowns.
The week after it started getting really fun though! I loved how common the cakes were, at least 2 were used every game granting about 60k bp for a normal game (for survivor). Items were pretty common and easy to get. I finally started feeling like I could play survivor and actually earn enough bloodpoints to level up characters and I'm going to be sad having to go back to simple 20-25k per game now. :/

Very happy with the event! Prestige three’d Hag, Deathslinger, and Executioner from level one up. Also probably more importantly, dumped bloodpoints into my already P3’d killers for perks and addons including Wraith, Hillbilly, Nurse, Huntress, Spirit, Oni, Ghostface, and Demogorgon. So oddly it feels like I prestiged fewer killers than during the Blood Rush but smoothed out so many many killers too.

This is one of the better events in the game (unfortunately my game bugged so my save got corrupted, causing me to miss 2 more crowns I wanted, but despite this, still pretty good)

Yeah, I like how the event wasn't too grindy. It took me an estimate of 9 hours for me to complete this event. Meaning collecting all the crowns for every single event. And I did this last minute within the last 2 days. Past events would have not allowed me this freedom. I'm grateful for that
I do miss how vibrant past events were. This one felt lackluster just a bit. The generators and hooks wasn't too appealing for me. My favorite event design was the summer bbq from 2018. One of the things I appreciate watching the devs comments in the loading screen. It reminded me they are still human and are trying their best to make this game as fun as possible.
I hope that maybe in the future the crowns can become it's on accessories and we can get glowing sparkles as cosmetics as well.
I look forward to the hallow blight event.
