Whenever I hit a survivor on a hook, they will make no sound.

They removed the ability to hit hooked survivors.

Hey man that's toxic >:( But yea you can't hit hooked survivors anymore, but if you really want to I'm pretty sure you can still throw hatchets at them as Huntress.
