Possible glitch

I'm trying to get an answer as if it was a rare glitch, exploit or some other unexplained thing.
While I was playing as a killer (Trapper) I saw a survivor just standing in front of a gen not doing anything. When I went up to the player I was able to swing my weapon but then I got stuck right being the player facing the gen, not able to move our turn my camera. I was stuck like this until the end of the game and so was the other player.
Has this been a thing talked about on here before?
