2v8 will not and should not happen
While I think this game mode would be cool in theory, this mode would require 10 players in order to even start along side the regular matchmaking at 1v4. Not only would this completely kill queue times for both modes, this would also create combos that would cause people to DC and just ruin that current match, because I don't think you guys realize how broken a Legion/Doctor combo would be.
Like the Devs said, this would also require balancing for all the maps, perks, add ons, and other things that people will discover with the new variety. Like if both killers run thana, will the effects cause 8% per survivor injured and would this be the way Legion becomes viable? Will running Devour on one killer and having Bubba facecamp the totem be broken? If both Legion and Doctor run Unnerving Presence, would everyone just fail their madness skill checks and bleed out from deep wounds?
Devs, please never add it to the game.

Thanks for your opinion, but if streamers/forum posters can sit all day theorycrafting perks and crap changes they think the game needs, it is totally fine for players to dream up a new Battle Arena game mode.
Its a sign of a healthy game community and a good thing.

Could put it in kyf since kyf isnt supposed to be balanced and really needs more options to mess around.

Theorizing perks that they could add and people suggesting a game mode that would hurt the game in the long run are two completely different things.

Personally, I don't think any thought should be put into this mode at all.
Make no changes whatsoever to maps, perks, gens, etc. Just throw everyone into the match as is.
The complaints about every gen going too fast, or overpowered killer combinations, isn't that the point?

exactly, it could be an event, let us have unbridled chaos for two weeks.
Let those who enjoy total war participate, let the others flee

the fact that some people are certain 2:8 would give an unfair advantage to either side shows how much glorious chaos it would be <3

I always saw it as a kyf kinda thing, not another main game mode to break up the playerbase.
