The stand has potential to come to dbd.
The stand is a novel by Stephen King about a plague called captain trips that kills 99% of the earth's population. Multiple parties are set up across America to survive. This evil sorcerer called Randall Flagg builds an empire in the apocalypse as well. The novel is regarded as one of King's best works and is over 1000 pages long. A miniseries was made in the 90s which was also pretty well received. A new miniseries is coming out in 2020, which is very highly anticipated from us Stephen King fans. If we aren't getting Pennywise in the game, Randall Flagg or the dark man would be an amazing killer or Stu Redman as a survivor. I think out of all the Stephen King stories, the stand has the highest potential to be in dbd.

Much as I loved the book, I can't see it happening.

A man can hope. I really want to see anything but Pennywise in dbd. Maybe the crimson king from the dark tower. Randall Flagg is my favourite Stephen King character though.

I'm not that big into king books if I'm honest. I've seen the IT movies and geralds game and thats it. So I have no opinion either way, but plenty of people would certainly be upset that we got something that wasn't IT.

I feel like IT is a bit overrated. I love IT and it is one of my favourite books, but I don't think it's his best. My favourite aspect of IT is the macroverse and the turtle Maturin. The IT book is much better and more brutal than the movies though.

Not sure how I feel about a killer that has a mullet and wears all denim.

Thats fair, many people probably feel the same. it is undeniable that IT is the most popular work king has created though, with the exception of maybe the shining.

Flagg takes multiple forms. Don't forget, we have a bunny and an elephant in the game.

######### you I want an all denim 80s killer!

Ew JoJo lmao

They probably expected this to be a bait post asking for Jojo to come to dbd. Sorry to spoil your expectations.

I would love having him in dbd, but there are so much better Stephen King chapters that could work in Dbd. Dandelo would be more interesting as he is Pennywises offspring and feeds off of laughter instead of fear.

The Stand has always been my favorite book. The movie(s) were all well received by all I know. Just keep it up. It doesn't get any better than that.

The stand is my second favourite book after the dark tower books. Randall Flagg or the man in black, the dark man, Marten Broadcloak, etc, is perfect for dbd.

Same. Never been a fan of IT. I even like his Rose Red stuff better. Speaking of, DBD needs a mansion indoor map. As much as I love Midwich (I know, most don't) -- enough with the schools please.
If I got to choose one of his works to be in DBD though, I'd go with Carrie.

I completely agree with you on schools, I want different indoor maps, maybe the overlook hotel from the shining. Carrie would be very interesting with her telekenetic powers, but she looks too normal to be in dbd.

Idk, I think there'd be something very creepy about the killer looking some what normal, but with wide eyes and suddenly shifting to being covered in blood. That stiff posture she had in the movie.
The Shining hotel would be excellent. Perhaps they could just do a Stephen King chapter, if he ever agrees to it. Elements from various parts of his work.
