What's going on?
Hi,
so I played survivor all day, because why not :D
This is no exaggeration: every single game where the killer brought a hidden offering, a random survivor quitted and the game didn't start. I also had an extreme increase in Moris today, like every 3rd game there was a red one - and therefore every 3rd game got cancelled.
What's even worse is that almost every killer except for one did not only bring their memento, but also NOED, and some even were insta kills Killers anyway, such as Michael and Leatherface. That Michael even wore a purple add-on ON TOP.
On the one hand, I'm kinda happy those matches never happened, on the other, it really is annoying in regard to the queue times.
I don't really have a point to make, just wanted to share my DBD experience from today.

Same for skeleton keys

I agree, I hate both things too, and I play surv AND killer. However, as killer you can at least play Franklins Demise when you see a key. You can't do anything about a mori.
However, people quit for the dumbest reasons these days. Right after that post I had a match against a doctor, first random quitted before their final hook, second random quitted during a chase when he wasn't even hit and left my friend alone. The doctor was a pretty normal killer, and he even let my friend escape. My god, people are whiny these days. In every game.

A friend of mine uses DBD as a way to let off steam. He uses every dirty trick in the book: moris, tunneling, camping, etc. He doesn't care. During the event he would have matches where all four survivors would bring in a cake, and he would bring in an ebony mori. He had cakes to use too, and he wants bloodpoints just as much as the rest of us, but he doesn't care.
He plays the way he does because he's tired of the toxicity in swf matches. He's tired of people saying mean spirited things, teabagging, etc. He's tired of the toxicity, and as lousy of an experience that he creates for these survivors, I can't necessarily blame him. The broken matchmaking constantly pits him against people far more experienced than him, and these survivors can see that, but they're still jerks nonetheless so he plays dirty right back.
Hopefully the new MMR will help with this. Granted people can be jerks no matter what skill level they are, but some red rank survivors tend to value being a red rank more than actually having fun, and will do anything they can to be sure that they don't de-pip.

This happens to me too and people thought I was exagerrating. Moris can be extremely frequent some days.
People here talk about how hard killers have it but they also seem to forget how easy killers can have it. Bring purple/red add ons, NOED and an ebony and killer can be braindead easy.

By playing this way, he creates more survivors who'll play like those he's trying to punish.. who will in turn play more scummy to punish killers like him. How did you think the toxicity in DbD got so bad? Everyone's trying to one-up each-other.

I hate having to use perfects for specific situations, its so annoying.

I literally had 3 ebony mori games in a row today. That's ridiculous but I put up some good chases which I'm proud of because I usually play killer but I had a daily. But yea moris need to be toned down a bit along with keys. Maybe every survivor needs to be hooked once before you can use the mori and a key equals one person escaping while it takes 5 seconds to open the hatch with it.

And you're not wrong. Toxicity creates toxicity. Maybe the new MMR will help stem the tide, maybe not. Survivors bully Killers because of the SWF mechanic, and more often than not they're successful at it. Until something is done to alter the outcome of such behavior, the never ending cycle of toxicity continue.

Just had a match where I brought a red Mori *because that's the only Mori I had left* to kill an obvious toxic Nea troll.
I hooked everyone else the max amount of safe times then let everyone else go as a reward for not being a toxic douche.
BAM! Mind blown.
