My Take On The PTB changes

Alrighty, let's talk PTB.




I do not main Hillbilly/Cannibal but I do want to throw in my opinion.






Firstly, let's start with Bubba. Holy crap, BHVR you have actually done it. I am very very happy with these changes to bubba. Maybe the add-ons could be better? I don't understand the whole "Use this add-on to increase your tantrum when your crash Into stuff, but you get to go faster!"



Like what? Why would I want to intentionally bump into stuff? Other then the weird add-ons here and there I think the base change was absolutely amazing, no complaints here!







And now onto the hot topic. Billy.


I have used this Billhilly a few times and I know for a fact that he is an incredibly difficult character, it's not all just. "Oh I'm finna walk up behind you and hold down my chainsaw to insta down ya."



It takes a high amount of skill to absolutely perfect the art of chainsawing. Curving, Feathering, Flicking. All of that is incredibly difficult to learn. But once you do you feel like god himself.




Adding this heat mechanic however now takes away that good satisfaction you get from doing something good. Your getting punished for using your ability. Hell I'm having a hard time really focusing on why this was needed. Mostly everything about Billy was difficult. I feel his base kit shouldn't have been touched but his insta saw add-ons should have. That would have been the perfect balance decision. Don't listen to those 2% whiny survivor mains. Listen to the majority. (before someone says "oh they are reducing the cooldown. Stop being ungrateful) I'm not in any way shape or form suggesting we absolutely stab the devs in the throat. I'm just saying that maybe they over did it a little bit.





Thanks for coming to my ted talk. I'm free to have good arguments against the Billy changes. Just be civilised about it down there please. I play both sides so I know how things are run here
