DC punishments

I'm a little confused and a little upset here...why is it that when a killer decides to DC I lose my items as a survivor? I know that if you die in a match you lose your stuff as well as if playing as a survivor and DC but I just think its a little ######### that survivors get punished for the killer deciding to DC. I hate when other survivors DC because its extremely annoying and hurts the game all around and effects the killers overall game too. I just really wish that it would strictly be (if you dc you lose everything. Not effect everyone else) if I get disconnected for my internet being crap I'm fine with that but seeing a killer DC and me losing my items and add-ons is not cool.

    Survivors dont lose their stuff when the killer DCs, once the killer DCs its considered an escape and for some reason survivors keep their stuff if tehy escape
    Actually its the other way around, if the survivors DC, then the killer loses all his stuff :wink:

    But yeah punish DCs please, I just had 3 survivors DCing in my last game as slugg huntress

    You lose offering but not items however I have had maybe 2 or 3 matches in my whole DBD time that I did lose my item. The odds seem so incredibly rare that I'd assume its simply a bug.

    You will alwasy lose the offering but you keep your items.
    If they dissapear from your l,oadout, then they have been teleported to your inventory, that is a thing for ages now and the devs never bothered fixing it. But since you dont actually lose stuff, who cares, there are gamebreaking bugs too
