My proposed buff to clown, that would make him a bit more worthwhile for players.
A lot of people have been asking for clown buffs for a long time. We got an amazing buff recently, but he still feels a bit underwhelming. When played well, he can be slightly better though. I think clown has amazing chase potential, but one thing about him is very unnecessary. He should have a much faster reload time. His reload time right now is absolutely pathetic and needs to be much faster. I would also like to know what @DudeDelicious thinks about this, since he is a clown main and (in my opinion) the best clown in dbd. He doesn't think clown needs buffs, but I think he needs this small little buff to be more playable in red ranks.

You know with add-ons you can get it to 2 seconds right? Having ~3 second reloads with ether 15% + bleach gas would be insane. Clown is already one of the best killers for anti-looping; he just has no map pressure and usually relies on tunneling someone off early at red ranks. Alot of the top clowns stream and you can watch some of these guys slay at rank 1 with him on a daily basis.

About to say, Clown main myself here and tbh he's in a fantastic spot. He doesn't need to be A tier or even S tier. He was already at c before the buff and now he sits perfectly in the middle of every killer. Sure a lack of map presence hurts but when you can end a chase in under 30 seconds, does it matter? The reload time can be perfectly circumvented with add ons or even reloading as soon as you down someone. Don't wait til you hook to reload cause it does take your momentum down a bit. Now, I'm not saying that killers SHOULD be add on reliant but lets be real, almost all of them are. Personally I find cork bottle and VHS porn to be a great add on combo. Don't really need bottles to do much more than slow em down if you can aim properly.

I think his reload should depend on how many bottles he needs back.
So 3 bottles left, 1 missing = 1 sec reload
4 bottles missing = 4 sec reload.

Not every killer in the game has to be top tier. Just like how every perk in the game doesn't have to be top tier. People run No Mither when they want to challenge themselves... Clown himself is a challenging killer to win with. Not a perfect comparison at all, but you get what I'm saying
If he got anything done to him, I don't think they should change the bottles, especially when you factor in add ons. I'd be interested in him getting something else in his kit (like how Demo doesn't just have Shred, he also has his portals, and Freddy has multiple powers, too).
Maybe he can have a clown car that works like Billy's chainsaw. He zooms across the map and any survivors he collides with are instantly downed, because they got ran over by a car. And then he gets to load them into the car and drive them all to hooks. Everyone fits because it's a clown car. The end.
(JK but that would lowkey be hilarious)

Honestly, I do not want to see clown mechanics changed like we have seen with Freddy, soon to be Bubba/Billy and others,....
Change his numbers around etc like the recent bottle toss with no slowdown, great, but do not just go and change him and change his power, and give him dream snares or something none of us want.
YUou could simply change his reload time and make him way more deadly, there is no need to change a killer entirely like they did with Freddy.
I never want that to happen to another killer again.
Hands off CLown, I started playing him because tyhey changed Freddy and dont want to see him given the same treatment.
