A heartfelt message to the Devs
You guys have done a great job, building an amazing game and a vibrant community. But this post concerns the interactions between the community and you. More specifically, the amount of abuse some members of this community direct towards you.
You more or less have a monopoly over the assymetrical horror market. Either your competitors fail, or dont have comparable player numbers. You guys are the ones all other developers look to surpass. Youve set a standard. You arent "incompentant" or "lazy".
Please do not be afraid of your consumers. Dont cater to a specific group (this goes for survivors AND killers) because you fear their angrily typed forum reprisals. Nothing you guys do will please everybody, and while I certainly havent agreed with every decision youve made, I have adapted to your decisions, and have become a better player as a result.
Warmest regards,
Zait

Very kind of you to take the time to write this.
I'm sure it's appreciated.
The abuse they take exceeds all the toxic abuse players in game, for sure.
You're correct in the universal law of "You can't please everyone." All any of us an do it our best and that IS good enough.
Kudos all.
