So, many times, I get error 14 when starting this game up, and after "fixing windows". I can run the game normally again, also, quick note: This can be a temporary fix and will only fix for some time, but still better then nothing!


How to fix:

  1. Open a command prompt (Admin)
  2. Run this command: dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth (This command fixes windows)
  3. Run this command: sfc /scannow (Fixes corrupt files)
  4. Run another command: chkdsk /r (Checks for bad sectors, in the next restart) [If asked to check in the next restart press y]
  5. Restart your computer and let windows scan for bad sectors. (This took me like 10-30 minutes, btw, I'm on a SSD, this can depend on your computer specs)
  6. Profit xD

    Worth Noticing that, this can actually fix with other errors, just a thought tho, but most likely can. =D
