all 5 gens repaired by myself = 24k Bloodpoints?

I fully repaired 5 gens by myself when my team was messing around, and for the extremely long, uninteractive and boring thing I was doing in order to survive I got in totall only 24k Bloodpoints?

If the killer had NOED, I would have just 19k Bloodpoints..

The Solo Survivor gameplay is extremely frustrating and unrewarding. Furthermore, the Survivor bloodpoint issue is existing from the day the game was released. @Peanits why you do prioritize crippling balanced Killers like Hillbilly over this?

You get noticed once you have reached the cap for repairing gens (which is capped at 8K BP and is Part of Lightbringer)

for more points you gotta do different things (chasing and altruistic actions plus the very inconsistent survival category)

since you got 24K you obv got other points as well, and that is a pretty good outcome, and really no reason to complain..

You say I had to drop doing gens and eliminate any chances of our team getting escape?

Nope, but don’t complain about a good game that you obviously carried.

it is a team game after all and everyone should actually take part in the different tasks for a balanced experience for the 4 teammates, that’s how the game is designed. I often get max lightbringer but I get why there is a cap on it.

I carried the game obviously, but I got very dissatisfied after sitting in one place and holding m1 for about six minuts..

They really need to make it so the limit for the game is still like 32k but there's no limits on individual categories. As doc im not gonna get a lot of brutality unless i go out of my way for it. It forces you to play in a bad way for the individual killer.

I don't know if it is by intent or not, but the bloodpoint system for survivors is designed in such a way that it provides incentive to ignore objectives and to play selfishly.

One example is the one you just provided. If no one else is attempting to do the most important thing required to escape why should the survivor that is doing it be capped and penalized? A cap on total amount of points in a match is one thing, but penalizing someone for doing objectives is ridiculous. Why continue to do gens if you aren't going to get points for it anymore?

Another example is the amount of bloodpoints awarded for specific actions. I'll use unhooking, cleansing a totem, and repairing 1 gen as my illustrations. There isn't a lot of difference between the amount of points you get for each of these actions. However, it takes considerably longer to do a gen than a totem, and the amount of time it takes to unhook someone is nothing compared to doing a gen.

I do understand unhooking someone is generally more risky than working on a gen. But the fact you can get such a large amount of points for doing so in such a short amount of time provides a huge incentive to not only take that risk, but it provides incentive to do so in a selfish manner. An unsafe hook removal still nets you a quick easy 1000 bloodpoints. It may throw someone else under the bus, but BHVR has decided to provide that incentive.

As long as the bloodpoints system is going to reward survivors that ignore objectives and play selfishly there will be an abundance of survivors doing exactly those things.
