Why does doing Gens with other people reward you more than doing it solo?
I get that they probably want to promote cooperation, but doing a gen with 2 people takes 45 seconds while solo takes a full 80. So why do I only get a measly 1250 points for doing one solo and I get like 3000 for coop?
Wouldn’t you reward the harder challenge with more blood points instead of the much easier version?

I assume its to incentive survivors to stack up on generators, and not split up and do generators seperetely.
Because if you have played killer in high ranks before you will know that survivors splitting up is a godamn nightmare due to the sheer speed at which generators pop.

It's as if... that's what devs want people to do?

Hit the nail on the head.

I doubt it, considering how fast it used to be. They slowed it all down now but 4 stack on a gen with prove thyself used to be like what 17 seconds? LOL
If they were trying to make people not stack, they were doing it wrong and had to change it into what we have today, it used to be faster

Thats just on paper, cause in higher ranks many people dont care about Bloodpoints anymore cause they already got everything unlocked, so it wouldnt really work in this way except for newer played or mid ranks
And it was already the case 2 or 3 years ago i reccon

You are encouraged to do co-operative actions.
There will be increased generator repair, but there is a new risk in which you have to rely on the other survivor as well as your own skills: if they miss a skill check it can have disastrous results.
This is one reason others are put off by co-op healing: if the other survivor fails a heal skill check, it could attract the killer's attention, leaving you potentially still injured and vulnerable.
You sometimes have to gamble quicker progression with skill check competency.

I don’t know who you’re playing with but missing a skill check is very, very rare these days.
