The problem with Ranking Up/New gamemode idea
The game becomes less and less fun as you rank up higher and higher. It's extremely easy to rank up when you at the lower ranks, due to the people your playing against kinda sucking. But then the game goes zero to a thousand and decides that since I'm rank 13 I should start playing against full rank 1-3 swf who bully you. Then if I want to try a new killer I'm screwed because said killer is low level and I don't fully know how to play them. I'd have to either derank or spend 50 bad games to get BP to level them.
I think the game should have another game mode. Casual. A game mode for people who just want to play the game and don't want to be in some sort of contest. No ranks involved just the level of the killer/survivor your playing. If your playing a level 1 demo the game would put you against level 1-5 or so survivors. It would be a good way for people to practice new killers/survivors without being bullied to hell
The only downside is there would be a holes who are amazing at the game abusing this, i.e going into a causal game being a jerk killer, tunneling, camping, unnecessary moris, or a toxic surv, doing all the toxic surv things. The community sucks just as much as the matchmaking. I don't know what the punishment for this would be or if there even would be one. Guess it would just be up to the people playing.

I think another game mode would be interesting. I ranked up to 13 and actually started hating it. Like you said ranks 1-5 for me and I just ain't that good consistently. Lol. I'm having my regular break from dbd, it helps clear the negativity. Maybe they will bring a new mode one day :)
