Hook Suicide Is Not Always About The Killer
I rarely get messages from killers after matches. Mostly because I don't DC. I don't teabag. I don't even use flashlights. The rare instances I do get a message from a killer is after a hook suicide. The thing is when I do it you can be sure it is never about the killer. Allow me to give an example:
Another survivor has unhooked me while I'm being camped leading to me being immediately hung again. If I'm getting camped a second time and I see that same survivor running my way to do it again. I will suicide on hook. As a matter of fact I will wait for that survivor to get just close enough they can't get me, but close enough they immediately become the killers next target. It has nothing to do with the killer.
There are a few scenarios like this where I will suicide on hook. The thing is none of them have to do with something the killer did. Even in the scenario above I don't blame the killer. If a selfish survivor comes along and willingly drops a easy takedown at your feet why not take advantage of it? At the same time I absolutely will not let that same survivor throw me under the bus twice in a row.
I guess what I'm trying to say is a hook suicide doesn't necessarily mean the survivor that did it was upset with something the killer did. It could very well have zero to do with the killer and everything to do with other survivors.
