How is the X-Box matchmaking looking?
Out of curiosity how is the X-Box matchmaking looking so far this week? Most of the posts regarding matchmaking that I've seen so far have been either complaining about the current Rank system on PC or speculation about what the new system will do or not do on PC. But I haven't noticed much feedback from actual X-Box players who have been playing games under the new algorithm. Good? Bad? Indifferent?

Rank 4-1 (survivor) on Xbox and I didn’t feel much of a difference, that’s probably why. The only thing I saw (and this was when I was playing with my mate, who’s rank 15-10) There’s more low rank (as in 20-13) killers who play considerably better and than their rank suggests. Guess this is the new system kicking in with individual killer skill being the new priority in matching.

Bad.
Rank 1 killer. Rank 20 survivors regularly. Last night I got a 1 rank 1 in a few games but most were low ranks. Only 2 games were all red ranks, and one of those was my friends. I picked a memey Nurse build but my friends Xbox crashed in the loading screen LOL.

Since they're doing individual killer MMR I'm wondering what killer you are actually red rank with and which ones you're not as good with and if that had made any difference? For me I'm a red rank killer and would say I deserve that rank with Hag, Doc, and Legion but skillwise I'd say I'm a rank 20 with Nurse, Billy, PH, Ghostface and Demogorgon. So if I'm trying to learn Nurse are they actually getting things to a balance or if I pick up Hag will I be having 3 minute matches against baby Survivors?

I've been playing only Huntress since the 13th, except for a few Spirit games (maybe like 5?). I got full red ranks when I picked Nurse who I haven't played in over 2 months.
I don't think individual killer MMR exists, because you can switch between killers in the lobby.

Interesting, in their news release on the 20th they said it was going live on all regions on Xbox and killers would be locked. Wonder if they're having some technical issues or something.

Currently it doesn't seem like anything has changed. I took a break like three days ago and came back last night. I'm a rank 12, got there with Freddy, with whom I have p1. I played some Myers last night though, don't have much experience with him. I still got rank 1-4 survivors but I still got 4ks cause these 1-4 survs were kinda potatoe. Might have just been my luck last night. Other than that nothing was different

Nothing will be different except them saying ranks are just there because and the skill rating they use for MMR is “hidden,” hidden being code word for not actually in the game.
Youll either get totally random matchmaking or it’ll continue as it is with reds against yellows and they’ll claim the results are looking good.

A disaster. Suddenly as rank 1 survivor you have a couple of rank 15-20 players every game. And played one killer game yesterday also as Nurse, against rank 2, 13, 17, 19 lol..game ended in two minutes.
