Arguably the most boring killer.
- Find Survivor
- Chase survivor to loop
- Spam Snares and Bloodlust until Survivor is dead
Repeat
i put nerf but honestly prob needs a rework, hes really mindless at loops

Idk how anyone could possibly think he's balanced, it's gotten to a point when I just want to quit as soon as the match starts and I see the little timer thingy on the screen. So boring and annoying to play against.

I want old Freddy back, but with more improvements..
Ill maybe be the only one lol
But i loved old Freddy his style was unique he just needed some kind of Buff
But now he just has a huge loaded kit with no personality (tp like demo, trap like hag, fake pallets like doc but even stronger, no cooldown in these two)
His sleep mechanic is still there but passively falling asleep is just a boring gameplay even more when you can fall asleep right on a trap lol
(Or make all other killers as loaded as him cause it kinda feels unfair for like traper, wraith or killers with only 1 power)

The only thing that annoys me is his dreamworld. It takes away 10-15fps on my system depeneding on the map.

I love that he's strong and wish more killers were near his strength level, I just wish he required even the tiniest bit of effort to play. I also don't know how they'd alter him without it ending up being a direct nerf, because I don't really want that

This is probably the closest to my answer.
Freddy needs some very minor changes, but not a major nerf like the exclamation point would seem to indicate for that option.
Survivors just need to get out of the mindset that every Killer can be dealt with the same way. Killers like Freddy and Spirit are not like other Killers, and shouldn't be treated as such.
If Freddy is spamming snares around a loop, maybe, just maybe, it's time to LEAVE THAT LOOP!

freddy is not unbalanced especially in high rank. he just strong on shutting down long loops with the snares and the pallets means you have to remeber where pallets are and which one you use. so in a sense freddy power is based on survivors keeping a eye on the map and using their heads to know what is the most likely places that snares can be placed and which pallets are real also if the survivor want to stay in the dream world or get out asap.
I would argue the reason why people hate him so much is in part they try to treat him as a normal M1 killer and believe they can loop him for several loops. Best counter to him is when he setting up snares on loop move away from it cause he cant attack when he charging the snare there a window for you to get away. If you stay there you will get hit or downed thats is survivors fault not freddy.
If you try and treat him like a normal M1 killer you going to end up on the hook simple that is what he counting on so play differently keep him guessing makie it hard for him to read your movement predict his most likely snare placements and keep track on pallets. Hes a killer that actually forces you to play differently which is needed for this game different killers that forces you to play differently not the same old loop to pallet and loop again that is boring i want killers to be able to force you to play differently only thing freddy need is the block add on (especially the purple block) to be reworked

I think he needs a large rework I think that his abilities are just kinda mindless, since his abilities consist of slow survivors down, place fake pallets and "hide your terror radius". I don't play him, I have only gone against him but he seems extremely boring since none of his abilities seem that interesting. Freddy is the only killer I have never considered buying.

Maybe 1 or 2 addons should be reworked but Freddy is well balanced and i like playing vs and as him.
