    Figure out at what times they usually do it. Most will keep doing the same thing if it works, call their bluff.

    Prediction and practice. And also, in many tiles you can actually see your opponent through small gaps in the walls. But mostly it's just about anticipating them.

    The best way is to play both sides so that you have a healthy understanding of what your opponent can and cannot do, and what tactics they may employ in a given situation. It also helps by letting you see how your opponents are playing and adding it to your own arsenal of tricks.

    Watch top tier survivor streamer. They kinda know in their head how much time it takes to go to certain spot of the tiles. So if the killer isn't there by a certain amount of time. It means he's mindgaming and they won't vault but they stay at reasonable distance allowing them to still fast vault if he come back. Basically they played enough to know their distance.

    Oh Tofu has some looping guides on his YouTube channel that might be helpful. If you can ever catch a Puppers stream he's always pretty nice about answering questions. His stream is big enough he might not see it. But honestly just watching him play you'll pickup on things.

    One of the things i do if he starts trying mindgame i leave the tile. Odten, not always mind yiy, but odten it takes him a few seconds to realize i bounced and by the time hes figured out which way i went im almost at the next tile.
