Jeepers Creepers
I've seen a lot of people talking about how the Creeper from Jeepers Creepers should NEVER be added to the game because of some serious reasons. Serious reasons that I support the motivation behind. Here's what I think.
I respect every bodies opinions so I don't want to argue/be hateful to anyone and I hope everyone else feels the same.
In my personal opinion, 'Who gives a ######### about the creator?'
Yes I understand that if the creeper is added then the creator aka victor salva would get paid for it and we don't want a pedo getting paid but, the movie in which his grotesque acts of pedophilia and molestation was his movie Clownhouse. Not JC. There is a part of the plot in Jeepers Creepers 3 that i've read that deals with a girl who was molested by her stepfather.
“Jeepers Creepers 3” does not depict any kind of child molestation, but it does include one moment where two characters are discussing why Addison no longer lives with her stepfather. One of the two characters is romantically interested in Addison and seems to understand why her stepfather would make “overtures” on her. “Can you blame him though? I mean look at her,” the character says. “The heart wants what it wants, am I right?” This last quote was removed from the theatrical cut of the movie after some heated debate over it.
"Salva’s history rightfully caused numerous production delays on “Jeepers Creepers 3.” The Union of British Columbia Performers (UBCP) made an official warning against Silva and urged actors not to audition or accept a part in the movie after a casting call revealed Salva was looking for an 18-year-old to play a character whose stepfather made “overtures” at her when she was 13. Salva left this backstory in the film for the theatrical cut."
The backstory of a character has nothing to do with the director only the story. Its a real issue. The person who played Addison was Gabrielle Haugh who was 21 at the time. This clears up any REAL LIFE ties to sexual abuse in Jeepers Creepers. Salva did good ( I use this loosely) in this scenario.
He wouldn't be getting paid to be a creep, he would be getting paid for the iconic creation that is Jeepers Creepers. Jeepers Creepers is a huge part of my childhood and my fascination with horror. Just because the creator/director has done some bad things, why should me and all the rest of the fan base be punished by being left out.
Think about it, Walt Disney, biggest name in the business, was:
Racist
Sexist
Homophobic
antisemitic
H.P. Lovecraft was also extremely racist and xenophobic, (seen in his writing) yet we idolize both of these characters and worship their writing and their companies. Disney got paid so much for his ######### and no one batted an eye. He still is in his grave. We don't idolize these people for these traits though, we idolize the art that came out of these undesirable figures. Its why they say never meet your heroes.
Im not asking for Justice for a pedo, I never would. I have a two year old sister and have multiple friends and my grandmother who have been victims to the crime. I am asking for Justice for the Character. The Creeper is an amazing and Iconic movie creature that would fit the astetic and overall theme of Dead by Daylight. I dont see the Creeper as the 'creation of a pedo' but as a cool and iconic horror character.
Let me clear this up:
I think Victor Salva is a sadistic ######### that doesn't deserve to be alive for what hes done. I would go in depth but then you all will spend ten minutes reading BHVRS filter: (BAD WORD)
I DON'T LIKE HIM AND I DON'T SUPPORT HIS REAL LIFE ACTIONS
so anyone who was planning on using that against me. Just cause I play ghost face doesn't mean I actually stalk people or kill people. Just because I want to see a character in my favorite video game doesn't mean I support pedos or am one.
I just think hes a cool character and would love to play the character.
What are your thoughts?

Would you buy this guy a pizza and give him a pat on the back for creating a monster while being one himself?
I wouldn't.

You'd be financially supporting him. I really liked the first one, and refuse to watch part 3 or the others because i regmfuse to give him any money.
As far as disney and livecraft, neither of them are benefitting from my money as theyre both dead. Even if they were alive, i just do not agree that racism is on the same level as a pedo, at least not in the modern western world. How much impact do you think those two racists views actually had on the world? Id argue it pales in comparison with the generations of people that can be effected by 1 pedo acting out against even 1 kid. F that. The devs have said they wont do it and i applaud that

As long as that ######### pedo is alive, Jeepers Creepers should not be a part of this game.
