Unable to use Nvidia Overlay Now?

Upon pressing alt+f3 and attempting to utilize the in game overlay that Nvidia provides I get "An error occurred please restart your game to use this filter."
I uninstalled and reinstalled DbD. All of my Nvidia Drivers are up to date with Version 3.20.4.14.
