Is Ace ever gonna get a good cosmetic?
I wanted to mention this back when it was first leaked but people don't like it when i talk about stuff too early. Now that the trailer is out, I think it's safe to discuss.
As one of the very few Ace mains, i'm really dissapointed by his tome IV outfit. In my opinon, it looks really unappealing and the style doesn't fit his charcter at all (but that might change once I read his tome lore). The Wraith's and Hag's cosmetics look just amazing, and Meg's looks decent enough. Ace's however is such a let down. I thought that since this tome would be about Ace they'd actually put effort into it but I was wrong. This is just my opinion but almost all of Ace's cosmetics are unnappealing and the only ones worth buying are the common and uncommon tiers.
I'd also like to point out a few things before anyone jumps to the replies. I'm well aware that the quality of cosmetics is a very subjective matter. I know that there are other character who are getting far worse treatment in terms of cosmetics like Adam. And I know that there are more pressing issues with the game like bugs and balance.

I don't really pay attention to cosmetics enough to say how I feel about his set of cosmetics, but I do like his Moonrise cosmetic. That's the one I always run.

Ace would be a perfect choice for a mobster outfit.
I don't get why he has so many cosmetics that don't suit where he's from...

I love most of Ace's outfits (especially the flamingo sweater!), so I don't really agree that he has no good ones--and I think we'll see plenty of people using his new Tome outfit, so I guess it's just a matter of opinion. I personally like the Tome outfit, so I guess it's suiting some people!

As a fellow Ace main I must say that I was hoping for someting better then a Jake like outfit trasnered to Ace. I'm still wishing for something along the lines of magician outfit or someting dapper like that.
It's a pity that tome/rift about Ace has such underwhelming cosmetic.

I too am an ace main, and while I'm not a huge fan of the new cosmetic, I'm still looking forward to it since the headpiece seems like it could go well with some of his other outfits. On a side note, I also think the one with the pink goggles is 10/10 solely for the meme. Still hoping for the og suit that was released back before they had a ton of cosmetics to be unshined, no clue why it looks so reflective

Being a guy based around the theme of gambling there’s plenty of Vegas inspired clothing he could’ve had, magician outfit, Elvis jumpsuit etc etc.

Most of his cosmetics reference the ladies chasing after him. One of the cosmetics is literally named ladies man if I can remember. It's literally what men wore during Aces time period. What was it, the 80s, 70s in Italy?

People actually main Ace??? I wouldn't mind playing him once in a while if he had good cosmetics (all of them are so damn ugly). 😑

My favourite Ace cosmetics are definitely the tuxedo and pilot, I think he has some ok ones but they're a bit boring for the most part. I just bought his beard cosmetic and I'm liking it, and in the headpiece area I think he has a good assortment. His patterned torso (purple w/ cards from one of the rifts and a flamingo one too I think?) are neat as well.
Overall I agree that for the most part his cosmetics are disappointing, or at least not great as full sets. I wish his tuxedo would get a recolour since I personally don't love his default outfits.

I'm an Ace main myself. I do very much agree that he doesn't seem to have any cosmetics that say "gambler", which is pretty disappointing. I play him because I'm a gambler (kinda... Poker ≠ gambling) and want something interesting. I'm not a fan of his Hugh Hefner style smoking jackets and loafers. The WW2 style bomber cosmetic is probably his best one, imo. I guess that's sorta like gambling, given how dangerous those missions were; but I want something that screams degenerate gambler! I just hope his lore is worth reading in this Tome; and gives us more insight into this elusive risk taker.
