how to counter swf
This is for every killer who wants to give up on life when they face swf:
- If you sit in the lobby and see at least one survivor with a flashlight, you don't have to use franklin's, neither infectious fright.
You do the following thing, after downing a survivor in game:
Don't pick up immediately. Stand on the survivor for one second, then turn around and look if someone is coming, because this will propably happen. Then you hit this survivor, you let him go, stand on the downed survivor again and wait, maybe the injured survivor tries to save, even though it's risky. Now you can down this person, too.
Same with pallets. A survivor downed on a pallet means you wait for someone trying to drop it.
- swf love to use dead hard. While chasing an injured survivor, wait for it, or if they turn, don't try to hit, just wait, you will catch up faster then.
- they will tell each other where you are, so you need to protect your gens at all cost. After hooking someone, go to a gen, there's alsways at least one person, maybe two. One person will be near the hook waiting for the unhook. While they are saving and also healing you can find another survivor and start a chase without getting genrushed.
- always break pallets, even if you think you can mindgame it. After breaking it, go away, leave them be. The pallet is gone the next time you chase another person.
- leave them. Hit all of them all the time, so they will heal each other, instead of rushing gens, so you can chase someone.
- If they don't care about being injured, and do gens instead of healing, it's easier for you to down them, so again patrol your gens but be aware of dead hard.
- If someone is pointing at you, teabagging, flashlight clicking or whatever, try to keep your chill. Don't go after them, think about what you're going to do next. They want you to chase them, so they know how to loop you and if you loop someone for too long, the game is over.
- don't tunnel and don't camp. I know some killers want to "punish" survivors for being toxic, but if a survivor is good at looping, it's not being toxic, they just play their part. You as a killer don't have to go after them. You can look for the weaker survivors and down them instead.
- If they try to bodyblock you, while you carry a survivor, don't panic. Drop the survivor and try to hit everyone. Once they get hit, make them use their dead hard, then you can either try to down someone else, or hook the person who's already on the floor. Also don't try to hit them when they still bodyblock you, even when they are injured. Some of them try to bait you with dead hard or simply know how not to get hit. Just walk straight to the hook, ignore them. You can catch them early enough.
- They communicate with each other, so you have to confuse them. Hit someone, go after them, then let the person go, walk to a gen, kick it, hit someone, go after them again, then go back to the gen.
- swf love to pressure gens. So you do that, too. They are confident, they will forget about tactics and in the end they will make mistakes.
- Don't bring a hex. They will all know the second someone spots it, where it is. While you try to protect it and land some hits, it can backfire and waste your time, when two of them try to destroy it and the other two do gens in that time.
Some perks that work good against swf:
- nurses calling (they always try to help each other, so they will be near their friends. You will be, too and cut them off, before they reach a safe place)
- thanatophobia/sloppy butcher (the more time they waste healing, the more time you have to kick gens and look for other victims)
- BBQ (after hooking someone, you know which gen they are on and you can protect it.)
- franklin's (when they have a key.)
- agitation (anti body blocking perk)
And even if nothing works, even if you get owned, even if they escape through the hatch, even if they teabag you at the gate, even if you feel miserable and want to quit the game forever, always try to learn from your mistakes.
DBD is a game, where you have to learn. If you are a survivor who needs to learn how to loop different killers and when to drop a pallet, or if you are a killer who also needs to learn how to loop different survivors and when to give up on a chase.
Don't stress and try to have fun.
lmao just kidding yk
bring ebony franklins noed and hit the surv on the hook as much as you can show them you're the boss and don't forget to nod and insult them in the end chat and also go to the forum after and complain about this $tup!d a$$ game I mean it's not your fault for being bad you're clearly a god
