Basekit Leatherface can outrun a sprint bursting survivor
Comments

Base kit Hillbilly, Nurse, Oni, Spirit, Huntress, Deathslinger, and to a lesser extent even Wraith and Pig can interrupt Sprint Burst easily.

Oh lawd he sure was comin'. Took them a few years but they gave our big boi an actual ability now and that's all that matters. But yeah you're not gonna be getting away from Bubba for free anymore. Greeding pallets and windows will likely get you downed now against him so you should be playing it safe.

Bubba can be scary now. His buff did him a huge favor.

Hillybilly is a skillshot and can't change his trajectory much.
Oni would need to be inside his power which requires M1s.
Nurse can be juked.
Spirit landing a hit on a healthy sprint bursting survivor in phase is unlikely.
Huntress and deathslinger are not instant downs and they are 110 killers.
Wraith and pig cannot catch up with a sprint bursting survivor unless you are very lucky.
Only Bubba can sprint burst after them, and then some, with an easy to land AOE instant down right off the bat.

Doesnt matter how difficult it is. It matters that it is possible.

Then clearly bubba's power requires a different method to counter. Perhaps not waiting for the last second to sprint burst.

Bubba has to time his charges perfectly to do this which requires way more skill than just going in a straight line as Hillbilly. Besides survivors are supposed to use that speed boost to get to a window or pallet. The survivor in your clip did NOTHING but run in a straight line. The Asylum has enough god windows that you can easily abuse with 0% skill so everyone who uses the speed boost to run out in the open deserves to get hooked.

What comes to mind

Most killers with mobility can outrun a SB'ing survivor.

Hold M2 to win

Any freaking window? His charge up takes pretty long tbh.

You shouldn't be saving a Sprint Burst until he's close.
You shouldn't be using Sprint Burst that way versus any killer because it's a huge noob trap. Get distance, play smart.

There isnt greeding anything vs bubba anymore. His chainsaw last so long that its impossible to make even 1 loop around 99% of the pallets.
You simply camp the pallet and predrop it when he gets there.
When theres no more pallets the game is over, assuming bubba is running bamboozle cause thats bubbas strongest perk now.
Bubba went from a crappy low tier killer to a pretty dangerous one.
Im not a fan of just camping pallets but some killers thats all you can do.

It helps that the Nea ran into a dead zone rather than I don't know the immediate tileset on the right that led to a jungle gym...

It constantly baffles me that Sprint Burst users ALWAYS wait until the last possible second to start running. I know that they're trying to bait out a missed swing, but how often does that even work? Do they think slowly walking away is going to somehow fool people? Just use your sprint burst to make distance.

they see me sawin
The denied truth: they hatin
saw machine go brrrrr

The reason is pretty simple, they don't want to waste their sprint burst, if the killer commits to them then they'll use sprint burst.

I found out about buffed Bubba the hard way. I was looping the truck in haddonfield in front of the basement and I had the pallet available but didn't think Leatherface could catch me.
Oops.
