I mean most of the survivors that DC with me cant handle that they played bad so a shamefull disconnect.
One person didn't jumped over a window but he kept holding w EVEN when i was revving my chainsaw. Well Lets say he got downed in 5 seconds and ragequitted immidiately.

Although it's often the main reason, I've been disconnecting fairly often since getting back into the game within reason (although you could argue I shouldn't play in the first place...).

This is pathetic. A streamer quits the moment he see's a legion. What if he faces a nurse or a spirit? Just because a streamer does it does not mean it's okay. In fact this guy shouldnt have an audience. If he quits against a legion he must not be very good at the game. He must not get to play the game much at all because Legion is one of the worst killers in the game.

DCing in this game is entertaining to some, some even joke about "my game crashes everytime Haddonfield map loads in" and they have a screen transition in OBS for it.to pretend it was a crash or they hide their screen LOL

I tend to get people who dc when I play trapper. If I down someone who was being toxic, I hook them, they get saved then they come towards me because they have ds. So I take the bait and decide to let them waste it before end game. I down them again, pick them up, DS, then while I'm stunned they vault a window only to discover I trapped it. Once I pick them up again they suddenly dc. Yeah, the timing was all to convienent for me to believe their pc crashed. Then in the end game chat the remaining 3 whine because I didn't go easy on them.

When I started playing this game in 2017 I began watching endless hours of DbD streamers and I noticed 1 thing... the killers I watched like Marth are openly against Dcing, he even stated it last night on stream someone asked him and his response, "I don't DC, if its in the game might as well get used to it."
However, the streamers I watched who were survivors, would jump in a locker and DC constantly for odd reasons. Oh no spirit, DC, Legion? Freddy? DC... Most it was to "down rank" and not vs "sweaty killers"
Some of those who I watched DC after DC are fog whisperers now. Jumping in a locker and DCing meme was taught to me on twitch LOL

Maybe the devs should look at the reasons why survivors and killers DC....sure some DC because they are sore losers but there’s definitely a few issues in this game.
Some DC due to maps like Ormond, Haddonfield, Hawkins, Midwich. Maps tend to either be killer sided or survivor sided.
Some DC due to MM. New killers being pitted against red ranks & survivors getting frustrated with their low rank teammates.
Killers...and their builds. it’s a bit controversial but I’ve seen people DC against Spirit, Slowdown Freddy, Iri hatchets huntress, Slugging builds, slowdown builds.

I 100% agree and I personally do not DC. I do not encourage anyone to DC and the killer main inside me says play through it.

I rarely ever DC, but if i do, it's because the killer is playing super scummy. If you tunnel someone out of the game as fast as possible when you have the option not to, your goal changes from "winning" to ensuring that one survivor doesn't get to play the game.
Whenever I play as killer, I still take into account the survivors' value of the match. I like high quality matches that gives everyone a chance to make plays. It also gives more rank and blood points so there's not much of a drawback to having some level of fair play.

BHVR needs to spend less time trying to punish people for disconnecting against maps/killers they don’t find enjoyable and more time making all of the maps/killers enjoyable to to play on/against/as.

Everyone has killers they like and dislike. Normally theres a lot of agreement on which killers are dull, although still opinions can vary.
However I really think Legion is that bad. I notice more hook suicides against Legion than any other killer. People talk about no counterplay to certain killers but Legion’s frenzy has the least counterplay in the entire game. Couple that with how often he can hit people with it and its just M1 holding on top of M1 holding.
He’s definitely the killer most in need of a complete rework. He really does drag the game down.

It's kinda funny though, Survivors constantly DC when there is no penalty but the only times I've even considered it as a killer is when I'm up against a bully squad that just wants to back to back pallet stun, head on, and flashlight blind instead of playing the game. Even then I don't DC, I go to the basement and stand facing a corner so they can't continue to bully me and are forced to do gens and escape.

Or, and this is just a wild thought. They legitimately want to have fun. Most survivors don't care if they escape. They want to have an enjoyable game.

You have to define tunneling to me, because a lot of people will claim "Tunneler" when it isn't. I see it from both sides too. Playing killer I get called tunneler when it's been two hooks since I last downed the person claiming I tunneled them, as Survivor my friends will claim the killer is tunneling when I see they aren't through aura reading perks and paying attention to the health states of my team. In all actuality tunneling isn't as big of a thing as so many mains claim it is. Proxy camping is a bit of an issue but running kindred I can see it's because there are two other people near the hook not being nearly as stealthy as they think they are.
Also, bully squads that make it a point to stun the killer as much as possible aren't advancing the objective at all in a game that is in their hands to move it along whereas a killer that is doing everything in their power to secure a kill is making the game move along so you can go on to the next match, not keeping you hostage.

Oh yeah once I’m done with the grind it will be great I’ll have the best builds etc to run and games won’t be as annoying trying to play hag and by the time I set a few traps and find someone I’ve lost 3 gens

As Trapper in Haddon. A survivor keep clicking tbag me because I couldnt hit him. I still able to down others but not him.

I wasn’t trying to say don’t punish people for DCing. Absolutely punish people who do it a lot. Just trying to say they should be making the game more enjoyable for both sides so people don’t do it so regularly. No one should ever join a game and go “oh ######### it’s Deathslinger” or “I hate Haddonfield,” and then DC. But they do because certain things just aren’t enjoyable to play against/worth the time it would take to play it out.
